Cool designs, bad QC
These novelty lamps are fantastic looking, but the first one I received had an unsightly dent and the bulb socket was bent. Exchanged for another to experience similar issues. Not sure if it's from shipping or from the factory. For the price, it really ought to be better.

Defective
I have tried two of these. Neither will stay on for longer than five hours. Both arrived with the bulbs already blown and stopped working not long after I replaced them both with the required bulb. I contacted the manufacturer twice to ask if this was a known issue. I was told they had not sold this particular item in at least 4 years. I will try ordering straight from the manufacturer.
