This was great! I bought them for a cruise where I thought my kids and I would be doing some snorkeling. I figured they could go around their chests if they needed help floating. While snorkeling didn't end up happening, it did give me peace of mind when my newly-floatie-free child was in the water. He is a skinny 7 year old and the small fit perfectly around his waist. My skinny 10 year old fit in the medium if he were to have needed it. I also appreciated how this allows kids to have better form while swimming (unlike arm floats). With that said though, I definitely wouldn't trust this to be the primary safety device for a child that didn't know how to swim. This is a great practice/confidence aid with adult supervision.Lastly, these were packed and unpacked for about 2 weeks, and held up well! No rips or punctures! I kept them in the box for protection, but they would take up almost no room on their own.

This works great to teach a kid to swim and also used at the beach just as an extra precaution in case of getting caught up

We have 2, our youngest has mastered swimming on her own. We keep them for friends to use. So much better than the arm floats.

This has helped my grandson keeping his lower half up when learning to swim. I will be buying the smaller size for my other grandson as well.

I have a 6 year old learning to swim and a 9 year old who can swim but is still gaining confidence in the water. My youngest fits in the small and the oldest fits in the medium. The large is big enough for an adult! I tried it for a quick float session and it was really nice! Kept a full grown adult afloat. We used them ALL SUMMER! My 6 year old would throw it on and go running off the dock with no hesitation. It keeps you buoyant enough to stay afloat but you still have full range of your arms and legs (unlike bulky lift jackets) so you can work on your swimming skills safely. These are NOT for use on boats or tubing etc. but for just playing on the beach or in a pool, they are awesome! I had others similar but they were foam. They would stay wet a long time like a life jacket and were bulky. These can be towel dried and deflated in 30 seconds and tucked in our swim totes taking up practically zero space. Such a great find! Even if they pop, I’ll keep replacing until all my kids are confident in the water. So far we haven’t had any issues with them losing air. Highly recommend!

These were so cheap and crummy when we tried to return them they just said will give you your money back throw them away, and we did. Don’t waste your money.

I measured my waist before hand, and I was right on the edge of small vs medium. I should have gone with medium, but I was able to add an extra buckle and it really works well. I like this version better than the foam versions I have been using for the past several years. I do water jogging nearly every day.
