Bought this to glaze for some small white earthenware flower pots I made. Followed directions for the product. I got a white, semi gloss finish with lots of tiny pinholes. No color. No glow. Not happy.

I was gifted my first small container of this glaze and loved/used it so much I had to come back for the bigger option! This is no regular glaze! If you're expecting basic & shiny, this ain't it. This glaze has a fun texture and is a brilliant shade of white in the light but then with a short charge in bright, direct light, this glaze goes from lovely to SPECTACULAR! Under 30 seconds of bright natural light with give you a brilliant teal glow as shown in my photos. The different variations of glow comes from the type of light used to charge it, LED works well, but sunlight works best. The glow lasts for a while too! As far as use, I follow the manufacturer instructions, they're quite easy. Layer as instructed fire to cone 06 or I often fire at cone 05 with the same results. Keeping it a little more fluid helps with application if it dries it gets thick and harder to apply evenly. Like any glaze, flaws occur if the layering is too thick or thin. From experience, too thick results in an almost foamy bubbling/pinhole flaw. If it ever gets thick add a little water and mix well, a milk frother works wonders for this. I've rehydrated my small container multiple times with no adverse effects to the consistency or glow! All in all this is a fantastically unique glaze, if that is what you're looking for. It is different in application and result than some other glazes, but it's also 100% more unique. If you can adjust to the differences (which shouldn't be too hard) it is so worth using!! It's beautiful, vibrant, and unique, I absolutely love this glaze!!

Es un producto que ya he utilizado y me gustó. Únicamente que no lo empacaron muy bien esta vez y se derramó un poco.

Applied as directed and fired in our raku firing. 1900 degrees worked well. first firing was under and it bubbled and blistered, but the second was spot on 1900 and it came out great.

I love the results of the glow in the dark glaze on top of my Blattel Glaze Pour method for my bioluminescent sculptures! i did test tiles to in several combinations to get what worked the best for me. The finish is more satin that gloss but I enjoy the contrast on my pieces. Many customers wanted glow in the dark embellishments to my functional pieces too.
