What a find! The best coasters money can buy, period. I bought the original black ones. They have a non-marking rubber base that stays put and doesn’t slide around when you place your beverage container on them, and they don’t stick to the container when you lift it off. The removable insert is a highly absorbent felt-like material that does a great job of wicking away condensation, yet dries quickly after use. The interior is 3.5 inches in diameter, large enough to accommodate a quart or liter size beer or juice bottle. Simply put, this product gives us everything we want in a coaster and nothing we don’t! All the ones I’ve had in the past did a poor job of soaking up condensation, they slid around on the counter or table, they would stick to the container when I picked it up, and they were too small for the larger beverage bottles. This product solves all those issues and does a perfect job of protecting your furniture. I was a little leery of paying this much for a set of 6 coasters, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat! Try them, you’ll love them!

My latest order was a Christmas gift. I already own a set and I love them. No more dripping condensation on myself from cold drinks. Plus, the foam middle sucks up the condensation so it does not sit on top of the coaster. My gift recipient told me "these coasters work exactly how she was hoping they would".My one small gripe is that since the outside of the coaster is silicone rubber, you have to pick up the coaster to move it... they pretty much stick to wherever you place them. They do not slide at all. This could be good or not so good. Sometimes I tend to slide my drink away from me to keep it away from the edge of the table. I dont want to have to pick up the coaster each time I do this. However, I have an easy fix for this. I have some of those thick pressed paper coasters like you see at a lot at bars or restaurants. I put the Comfortena coaster on top of the pressed paper one and it slides easily across the table. No fuss, no muss. Great product. Nice inexpensive gift people will love.

I've been agitated, irritated and severely chafed with coasters for YEARS. Then...I found them. Could these be the perfect coasters??? YES, YES ,YES they are!!! These coaster is non-slip, absorbent, and easy to clean (when needed) . Your drinks will never drip on you, your guests, or your furniture again!! The felt pad is super absorbent and easy to remove and clean/air out if desired. The absorbency is outstanding! The base is wide enough for any reasonably sized beverage container. In short, this product gets ten stars out of five!

I know it’s weird to be passionate about coasters... but I was so sick of our old coasters! They allowed liquid to pool at the base of my glass and then drip on my shirt or pants as I pick up my beverage. EVERY SIP. Most coasters are useless against the condensation. But not these babies! These coasters have never let me down! No matter how frosty cold my beverage is, these coasters soak up all the cup sweat! Not once has my drink dropped a drip since these things came into my life. Also they don’t get liquid under them and slide on the table. They stay put, since the silicone is rubbery. I haven’t had to put them in the dishwasher yet because they still look brand new, despite their daily use and one year anniversary approaching. I’m super pleased with my purchase, would recommend them to anyone, and will buy more if I ever need more coasters (but I think these will last a long time).

I've used these for only a short time but am a fan thus far. A couple of observations. The coaster base is silicone and can get a bit tacky...it gets sticky. So, if you have used it on something with dust or grit it will transfer to the bottom of the coaster. Its easily fixed by running the bottom that contacts your furniture under warm water and letting it air dry. It reconditions the bottom and is now safe to sit on polished wood surfaces.The stickiness of the silicone keeps the coaster in place, no sliding. The center felt insert absorbs condensation well.I'm a fan...bought a second set for the office.

All the coasters I had previously had a pretty significant problem with not capturing condensation off my water glasses. They'd end up splashing or spilling the water that had gathered, or just let it leak down off the coaster onto the table or desk. These absorbent coasters don't quite make that a 'thing of the past' but they do significantly reduce the problem. They can become saturated if collecting a lot of water quickly, and it's not exactly easy to tell when they're nearing capacity, so you can still end up with spillage; however, it takes a lot more to create that scenario than with your typical plastic or rubber or wood/cork coaster. I don't know if these are the best ones out there, but they're definitely worth the price and I'd certainly recommend them if someone was looking for coasters like this.

**UPDATE: This is our second purchase for additional coasters, this time for inside the house. They are large enough for cans, wine glasses, and coffee mugs, as well as drink glasses. They are absorbent and don't stick to the bottom of the beverage or mar surfaces. We are really happy with them!We just purchased glass topped side tables for our backyard patio and these coasters are perfect. The rubber backing doesn't scratch the table top or slide around. They absorb condensation very well and don't stick to the drink glass when you pick it up. I chose the dark brown color and have also brought a couple inside for a side table between the couch and recliner. Though not as elegant for indoors, they are far more functional than many other coasters I have bought for aesthetics. I am very happy with this purchase!
