Powerslide Metropolis SUV Inline Skate

This model is much better quality than the original Powerslide SUV Vi made by Powerslide. They have improved the SUV considerably compared to the VI style predecessor. The metropolis feels lighter, the wheels seem to rotate better (less friction in the bearings), the boot is very comfortable (one does need to up-size one size since the liner is quite short as another review points out). Additionally, the frame mounting distance has been changed from 195 to 165 mm so it is easier to find a replacement boot if needed (although the one they have installed on the Metropolis is extremely comfortable unlike the VI boot installed on its predecessor). It is not that stable on gravel roads but ok for what it is. Due to the decreased friction in the wheels the Metropolis feels easier to skate in without poles than its VI predecessor.

The rollerskates are wonderful. They are truly off-road!!! But do not forget to pump the wheels and make sure they are fixed well. My mistake was that i did not check whether the wheels are fixed and have almost bent/broken one of wheel axis on the first ride.

These skates made sweat on a 0C weather! Reviews from other places were right haha. It's definitely harder to skate with these as compared with regular skates, but at the same time they are smooth on rough surfaces, really fun to ride and my girlfriend think they look bad ass :). It is possible to skate with them on wet surfaces as they offer the same grip that a bicycle will do. However, for skating you have to drag your feet which it is totally doable but you still need to be cautious. They are quite comfortable although considerably heavier than my regular Tri skates, so would need some time to get use to them. But I'm really looking forward to try them on a small bxm track near my place!Also go one size bigger.

First of all Powerslide with they’re impeccable history on designing skates should be ashamed trying to market these. i live in the uk where the roads are a disgrace so i thought these would be a perfect solution. the best way i can describe the experience is like walking in quick sand. the wheels roll absolutely no where. not even down hill and god forbid should you encounter a twig or loose pebble. so i’m wobbling around like bambi with all onlookers watching in amazement as if ive just found a pair of skates and thrown them on for a laugh. they’re rubbish on flat ground. rubbish on gravel. i found myself slipping all over the place on loose leaves. and if you encounter the slightest incline you’ll need to muster every ounce of energy to get up it. they’re that bad i got about a mile away from home. was absolutely exhausted so just took them off and walked home in the rain in my bare feet. if i’d got money to burn i would have just thrown them in the river i was that disappointed. they’re lucky to even get 1 star as you can’t give them nothing. they’re a very expensive waste of time and money.

Ordered three pairs of these to get the sizing close and still no cigar. I wear 10.5 men's wide and in sporting equipment especially, I have had to travel all over the arabic numerals in order to find a proper fit. That shouldn't be so, but it is. These are fairly well made but my feet gave up before we ever gave them a fair shakedown.

Fué un regalo de navidad para mi hijo, quería estos patines desde hace tiempo y finalmente, haciendo un gran esfuerzo económico y aprovechando esta oferta de amazon se los compré. Teníamos nuestras dudas, ya que mi mujer tiene unos Landroller (los del encantador de perros) y está encantada con ellos, ya que puede hacer rutas sin miedo a caerse por culpa de alguna piedrecilla en el camino. Nuestra preocupación era que fuesen muy pesados y no se pudiese andar bien con ellos en aceras, asfalto..., ya que teníamos oido que en este terreno se quedaban frenados y era complicado andar con ellos. Pero la verdad es que el crío dice que se va muy bien con ellos. Pienso que dándoles una buena presión a las ruedas no tienen que quedarse frenados en el asfalto. Eso sí, reconozco que son muy pesados, se le van a poner las piernas como a Hulk. Y por terrenos de tierra pues ya son lo ideal, al ser las ruedas como las de las bicicletas, pues no tiene problemas de meterse por caminos de tierra, incluso zonas ajardinadas. Cuando se junta con otros amigos que patinan, les vacila metiéndose por sitios que los otros no pueden. La verdad que entre los Landroller y estos, entre mi mujer y mi hijo, tienen opiniones enfrentadas, a cada uno les gusta los suyos. Las botas se ajustan muy bien al pie y no le hacen daño, me dice que son muy cómodos. A tardado poco en quitarle el freno, ya que al ser tan grandes, le molestan al girar. Y como tampoco lo usa... pues fuera. Se frenan perfectamente como cualquier otros patines. Lo malo (por lo que a mí me toca) es el inflar las ruedas. Al ser unas ruedas tan pequeñas, las válvulas tienen que estar muy metidas hacia adentro y es complicado inflar las ruedas, ya que como te descuides (como son tan pequeñas) pierdes la presión de la rueda al quitar el inflador de la vávula. Y el inflador tiene que tener una boquilla fina para poder acceder a la válvula dentro de la rueda, porque no hay espacio. El inflador de Powerslide no lo venden en cuanquier sitio y vale también una pasta. Yo compré(en aliexpres) un inflador (que prácticamente es igual al original) de la marca Giyo, que tiene manómetro de presión y una pestañita para quitar la presión a la válvula para poder desenroscar el inflador de la válvula sin que las ruedas se desinflen en el proceso y pierdan la presión. Y por menos de la mitad de lo que cuesta el de Powerslide. En amazon también lo tienen. Y sigue saliendo más barato que el de Powerslide. En definitiva, una vez solucionado el tema de inflar las ruedas y aunque los patines resultan un tanto pesados, si tienes buenas piernas (o las quieres echar), estos patines pueden ser muy divertidos. Y puedes hacer rutas por sitios menos transitados que las aceras, como pueden ser parques y caminos. Los aconsejo totalmente.

Kein Grund den Skate grundsätzlich schlecht zu bewerten, finde ich.Der skate von Powerslide ist ein sehr guter und außergewöhnlicher Skate.Der Schuh gibt einen starken Halt am Fuß, da er auch relativ dick ist, im Vergleich zu anderen Skates. Aber bei den Skates braucht man diese Polsterung. Sie sind gedacht um off-road zu fahren, da benötigt der Fuß etwas mehr Halt. Ich hab's ausprobiert und bin mit Ihnen über kaputte Straßen und leicht geschotterte Wege gefahren - funktioniert! Auch über Waldboden und Wiese kann man fahren -solang es nicht zu nass ist, dann sinkt man etwas ein.Der Skate erfüllt also vollkommen seinen Zweck und macht riesig Spaß.Man muss jedoch dazu sagen, dass er nicht für Anfänger geeignet ist. Aufgrund der Luftbereifung ist es anstrengender zu fahren, und die Skates wiegen auch etwas mehr. Es ist also ein anderes Fahrgefühl als mit den normalen Fitness-Skates.Für jeden, der schon länger Skatet und mal etwas neues sucht!Ich liebe sie jetzt schon!

Véritablement tout terrain, passe partout, j'adore !!! Plus physique que les rollers petite roue . Ils Chausse un peu petit en longueur, j'ai pris une taille au dessus, le chausson me maintient le pied parfaitement malgré mon pied très fin. Je recommande !

Sono i pattini che volevo acquistare. Purtroppo non ho trovato alcuna indicazione che sconsigliasse l'acquisto in caso di utilizzo su strade ciclabili o su strade in piano. Ho chiesto nel frattempo la sostituzione del set di ruote in gomma con set di rotelle adatte alle strade in piano asfaltate o ciclabili.quando riuscirò finalmente ad utilizzare i prodotti acquistati con delle rotelle che consentano una pattinata più fluida e veloce potrò fornire una recensione più favorevole sui prodotti acquistati da ormai un mese senza poterli ancora utilizzare.
