I bought this for my husband to rest his feet while playing video games (he was previously using a chair) and he loves it. It has a large space inside for storage and the leather seems to be good quality.

This looks great and is very nice quality! It looks better than the picture online. It is also a great price for leather!

Love this piece! Only wish the underneath of the lid was hollowed out so I could fit more in it!

We were very impressed with the quality of this ottoman and it has adequate storage for your throws...or whatever you want to store. It's a slightly different shade of black than our Italian leather sofa set, but it blends in nicely.

So... it turns out the covering is made from a manufactured process that uses leather scraps and will peel after a few years. I have a different model of this one from the same company and its been peeling and is pretty ugly. Since this unit is made the same way, it will eventually peel as well. Don't buy this thinking you're getting a high quality box that will last you decades like something made from full leather. This is worse than vinyl. I bought this unit before I noticed the peeling of the original. Google "Bycast leather peeling" and you'll see the horrors across the internet.If you only care that the unit looks good for a few years, then it will be fine... otherwise be prepared to clean up a mess and have an ugly piece of furniture lying around. The box itself is sturdy and has lasted, but I didn't get something covered in "leather" to be an ugly mess.
