New Star 34585 Cast Aluminum Utility Scoop, 58-Ounce

They are nice, but small and hold about a cup of dog dry food.

Perfect size, perfect shape very strong

On one hand the casting is nice but there are always casting marks that need to be ground off. In this case the guy grinding destroyed what was a nice casting. The grinding was comparable to a 5 year old trying to color inside the lines. It took me longer to sand out the grind marks and buff it than it took to ship it from China.

Be careful, scoops are addictive. It starts out as just one for the chicken feed or whatever, but then you enjoy it so much that you get one for the baby chick feed. And then the potting mix, then a cute lil baby scoop for the bonsai mix etc. I'm at 4 scoops already but rest assured my mind is feverishly thinking of other things that need scoops. This particular scoop is very good value and built well.

Broke at handle neck after a while, probably due to the cast material used.
