Beautiful. Substantial size and weight. Looks expensive. Have as a gift to my sis in law and she loved.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my FIL he absolutely loves them! We cooked a steak dinner on them and it was so tasty! Definitely recommend just doing a little research on the just so you know how to heat and clean but overall really easy to use and clean! But very heavy on the box lol

We tried tempering our new salt block for the first time following the instructions exactly, but it cracked shortly after reaching ~300 degrees. This is a 100% natural product, so each one is unique and may have imperfections - i.e. this can happen occasionally. I contacted UMAID customer service the next day and they were awesome. We had a new salt block on our doorstep within a few days, with no further questions asked. And we love the product - everyone in the family has fun around the dinner table when we use it.

I got this for my husband as a Father's Day gift. It arrived nicely packaged. Easy to use and the steak and shrimp cooked nicely on the block with really good flavor. We're looking forward to chilling it to use as a charcuterie board. The block doesn't fit in the rack as other reviews mentioned. We used a oven sheet and that worked well. Two corners broke off when we removed the block during the oven preheating process. Just disappointed that it broke already and rack didn't fit, especially since it was a gift. It's past the return date to request a replacement.

Honestly, I really liked this salt block. I used it on the grill and it gave the meat a totally different flavor, kind of smoky with a natural salty touch. I also tried it chilled to serve cheese and it looked super fancy on the table. It’s heavy and feels solid, and the steel tray makes it easy to handle. Honestly, I thought it was more of a gimmick at first, but it surprised me… now I pull it out every time I have guests.

Purchased the Himalayan Salt Block Cooking plate and was in the process of following the curing instructions provided by the manufacturer. Did everything exactly as the instructions said. Not even half way through the process the salt block exploded inside of my oven. THE SALT IS EVERYWHERE. It's in places that I cannot get to with a vacuum, behind panels, seals, the blower motor housing, etc... The glass door of the stove was also scratched and etched by the explosion. I understand this is a natural block of salt and was a possible outcome, but the sellers neglect to put a warning in the instructions coupled with them not returning any of my calls or emails to discuss the damage and repairs is extremely frustrating. My stove is only a few months old and its life span has been severely compromised. You should not buy from this seller.

Bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law the “chef”. He was excited to use it although I don’t know if he has yet. Seemed of very good quality.

The salt block looks ok but the "steel tray" is not. The edges of the tray sharp indicates low quality of workmanship. Will try to cook using the salt block later.
