Loud noise
Purchased this few days ago , it can’t even cool a small room 30 degrees inside and with 2 ice pack on cool mode it’s not reducing the room temperature. On top of that it’s making grinding loud noise literally impossible to hear even my TV from it , a bit disappointed

Doesn’t work
The paper filter at the back is supposed to get wet via a pump from a water sump at the bottom of the unit. The pump in my unit does not work, though the float switch seems to be operating correctly (the unit objects if the pump is removed from the water by sliding the tank out). The paper element remained dry after 2 hours of operation in ‘cool’ mode. I suspect quality control at the factory is non-existent to keep costs down.

To My mind a waste of money
Maybe I was expecting too much but on Monday temperatures outside were at 33 degrees this unit only managed to drop the temp to 30 Degrees. Certainly not the nice icy cold shown on the box or website. I am having proper air con fitted and this was supposed to be a stop gap to keep us cool till then. To my mind a waste of money.
