Very sweet and great for liquids
After receiving this product, I noticed that it had a fairly distinct scent/smell. Not unpleasant but different. Tasting it is a bit off putting as there is also a strong flavor that goes along with the sweetness. As for applications, I have thought about them and realized that as a sweetener there is probably limited areas where I would want to use it.First in baking that calls for sugar, it would be difficult to use as those recipes are utilizing more than just the sweet property of sugar. Volume and other properties play an important role in baking. Alternatives such as using mixtures various sugar alcohols could cause digestive problems.Drinks, teas or other drinks with very specific flavor profiles would probably not tolerate the taste change that using this sweetener would cause. Alternatively where this does shine would be in smoothies or lemonade using lemon juice. Sweetening any tart strong flavored drink where the somewhat strange monk fruit taste could easily be covered works very well. Don't really know about coffee as I do not like coffee at all, but it would probably work fine.Rather expensive, but when used to replace sugar for calorie reduction to me it seems to be a very cost effective sweetener.I picked up an allulose/monk fruit sweetener to try to make lemonade. It works very well as a bowel cleanser. This on the other hand does not have such an effect at the low usage levels needed. Just remember that this is extremely sweet, and the amount needed for most applications should not really impact the taste of what it is being used on much.

Powerful sweetener
This brand isn’t pricey at all, considering that one tiny level scoop is probably enough to sweeten a mug of coffee or tea for most people, and that there are 804 servings per each .71 ounce container!I was very surprised and pleased to find that two level scoops is plenty for my 14 oz mug of black tea - because heat suppresses my ability to taste sweetness (I’m not the only one with that odd problem). It always took a lot of stevia “pure extract powder” to satisfy me, and I became concerned about ingesting too much of the traces of harsh solvents required for the stevia extraction process.By all accounts monk fruit is much easier to process so is far safer: it can even be done with water alone, though that would make it more expensive. This brand comes highly recommended, and states that they operate their own processing facilities close to where the source of their fruit is grown in China, the country which provides almost all of the world’s supply. So I have a higher degree of trust in the purity of their products. Wish I’d tried this years ago.

it's good
I'm starting to eat without sugar and I saw a recipe that included this, but I think I like it better with erythritol for desserts because in its pure state it leaves a slight taste in the mouth, but it's not bad.

Good but wish it came in a larger size
I like this monk fruit, but it was pricey. I found another that cost me less because it’s a larger amount.

A total rip-off -- AVOID
Absurdly expensive; you can get 20 times this much at Whole Foods for a third the price.AND, it tastes absolutely awful. Avoid. I feel really ripped off by this one.

Not great for baking
I was told this was better for baking, but I didnt notice any sweetness using the ratio recommended for banana bread. I doubled it with the next batch and then doubled it with the next and barely taste any sweetness. So, now it's costing me $5 a loaf to get hardly any sweet taste. I'm not pleased with this sweetener that every keeps saying is so great for baked goods. I tried using it for sweetening Iced Tea and it works fine for that, but very expensive way to sweeten Iced Tea, and not what I wanted it for.

Tiny Scoop Equals Tons of Sweetness!
I recently gave up adding sugar to my food and drinks, and I also gave up buying products that contain sugar. I was doing fine getting used to a no sugar life except I could not enjoy my morning cup of coffee without a bit of sweetness. I started looking for something that could give me just a bit of sweet without raising my glucose and without the usual aftertaste, and thankfully I found that Lakanto’s Monk Fruit products work great for me! Of all the products, Lakanto’s Monk Fruit with a High Purity of MV50 is amazing. I can't believe it takes such a small amount of the fine powder to sweeten my coffee! Each tiny scoop has a ton of sweetness! I am about to buy this for my family members who are diabetic. Also, I’ve gone beyond just using it for my coffee as I’ve used this instead of sugar to sweeten other foods such as desserts and even to make some delicious beverages. Use a very small amount the first time you try it! (Put a rubber band around the bottle to hold the tiny scoop so it doesn't get lost! Maybe Lakanto can come up with a solution?

Love!
We are using this to offset sugar in our diet. We were using Splenda however it’s not really good for you so I thought we would try Monk Fruit. We really wished it came in granular form however we soon acclimated to the powder and to the taste. Once you acclimate to Monk Fruit then Splenda tastes weird. And monk fruit is so much better for you and it doesn’t spike your blood sugar …like zero. Look it up.
