Chuffed! Received this about 10 minutes ago. We are renovating and waiting to have this room plastered so can't put a curtain pole up yet but the drop in temp has made this room really cold. Suspension rod and a pair of old curtains and the drafts have stopped! Also, where this is extendable it will fit in the archway next door once I've put a proper pole up here. Easy to construct and feels pretty sturdy. Got the bronze colour and it looks really nice. The padded ends to the rod were bigger than I thought which is great as less pressure on the plasterboard. Thanks! I will be buying some smaller ones for my door-less door frames upstairs!

I think this is a pretty good product - a little thicker than required, which makes the 'measured-to-fit' curtain fall-short by a few millimetres, to a centimetre or two, in total, but still a sufficient and fashionable product nonetheless. They look rather elegant, especially for a deep-black appearance! I am really happy with the result - the contrast is unsurpassable! (Looks great in an 'all-white' window + white surrounding border & paint). The metal rings that are incorporated into the curtain (and not attached above it), cause them to not have enough space to sit at the right angle, which would allow them to enable the curtain to fully-extend to it's limit... although not a major problem, but it would have been better if the curtain rod was a bit thinner (they still fill the window-space, just a tiny fraction of the window-frame is not completely covered). I am more than pleased with the result - the rods are easily extendible and create a SOLID foundation once they are in position & tightened (very easy to achieve the desired level of security). Both rods have an extra, small extension, for those wider windows, which is handy to have, but not needed for me (mine are exactly 85cm wide). The pads that are easily attached & removed, are very stable once the rod is extended/tightened in-place and even provide an almost adhesive-like effect when placed on a 'shiny' painted surface - which is even better! (I tested it before putting the curtain on the rod and the pads were literally 'stuck' onto the painted surface and required encouragement to be removed!). The rods are surprisingly robust/sturdy - very hard to warp and can comfortably hold the stated 15kg in weight (if needs-be). They were packaged really nicely and each parts was individually wrapped (the poles were in narrow bags and the pads were in fully-sealed packets) - there were only x2 pads with superficial/cosmetic black marks on them, just a single, tiny mark on each of the two, nothing remarkable... Besides this, everything was in immaculate condition and completely brand-new, with 0 defects. I only gave it 4*-stars because of the tension that the curtain-rings are under, due to the thickness of the rod/s - this is the only thing I would change/improve, is to have them thinner, as the curtain feels a bit 'taught' under the tension + the rings are visibly 'angled' where they are at 43-degree angles from the thickness of the rods - slightly ruins the aesthetic, but still viable/practical. I would recommend these rods, they're cheap/affordable and of excellent quality; I can certainly say, they are more suitable for 'hanging' curtains though, one's with rings that are freely-attached above the curtain itself and not within the material...

Wow, this thing is impressive it has frankly ridiculous number of trousers hanging on it. We are talking heavy jeans, work trousers, the “I will fit into these again one day” pile, all on there at once. I kept waiting for the dramatic crash in the middle of the night. It never came. The thing has not sagged, slipped, or even looked mildly concerned. Installation was easy. I am not particularly handy and I still managed it without swearing or drilling holes. Twist, adjust, lock, done. Then I just kept adding clothes like a scientific stress test and it has passed every time. If you are short on wardrobe space and want a cheap, renter friendly solution that is secretly built like a tiny steel superhero, this tension rod is it.

Used to put up a long curtain, seriously strong stuff! Does exactly what it says, am going to get a couple more!

Using this is very simple and easy set it up within 5 minutes, personally I am using it as a curtain rod for the bed room instead of the bathroom. It holds its weight well and adjusts very easily. It hasn't even had a scratch since ive owned it worth it !
