7 year old loves it. Did almost all himself. The expansion packs are needed though for long-term play.

Great Lego Set
Awesome addition to existing Mario lego sets. Remember to also get one of the Mario, Luigi, Peach that are sold seperately to really enjoy the experience. Castle folds up into a square piece for easy transport. The Skelly character and the 2 boo's are nicely put together. Construction os a bit repititive, but still enjoyable.

Super fun
My kiddo is obsessed with the Mario legos and this was a great addition to our ever growing Mario course. He loved having King Boo to battle. It folds up into itself pretty decently which was an unexpected surprise. Makes it easier to move it without breaking it. I would definitely recommend adding it to your already existing Mario legos. Lots of fun!
