A game-changer. Great build quality. Excellent value.
Really nicely designed and constructed. It's been my EDC for a couple months now, and I'm extremely satisfied. The range of replaceable blades is impressive, and the ease of installing and uninstalling is surprisingly easy. All blades lock open, and both sides can be locked closed. The plain blades can use a bit of fine honing, but they're sharp enough out of the box. The handling is excellent, and it's almost on a par with my legendary Victorinox SwissTool, for less than half the price (and all that blade changing coolness). I've had only one issue -- the shape of the plier pivot point makes it possible to catch a bit of flesh when they are opened fully, and if that corner were rounded the pinch would never happen. Maybe they'll read this review . . . .It's worth noting that it takes a few days to get used to the procedure for opening and replacing blades. Once you get the few simple requirements (which just aren't obvious), changing blades is easy and consistent. One thing you must remember at all times, though -- unlock the side lock! I kept forgetting that, and then wondering why the blades would only emerge a little bit. Otherwise, the whole thing is very well done. The pliers are precise, the tip almost qualifies as a tweezer, and the replaceable wire nipping blades work well. I love that the pliers are spring-loaded (the SwissTool pliers are not). While the SwissTool is an excellent large-scale replacement for a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, the Roxon is that -- if you want it to be -- and all sorts of other things, depending on the extra blades you acquire.Attached is a photo of the tool with my current set of blades, mostly for cutting, shaping, carving, and opening. The file is diamond grit, medium on one side, fine on the other. The can opener is the Victorinox style, which actually works and doesn't cut off your finger. The second photo shows the blades left over, including the ones that ship with the tool. There's a hex-drive philips and a 3rd party set of bits (https://amzn.to/4kLv6J9) that all fit into the Roxon case, a largish scissor, a nailfile with metric & imperial ruler, some blanks in case you don't want to fill all the blade slots, a large smooth blade, a Victorinox-style aggressive but precise wood saw, and a small and a large scalpel blade holder. Every blade sold comes with a durable plastic see-through storage case. The third photo shows the plier full-open pinch-point that would benefit from a small machining mod.

Absolutely perfect.
I was a little skeptical on buying this but wanted something lighter than what I carried. I've had it about two weeks or so and so far it fits all my needs. I did buy spare tools off of roxons website directly. It's is definitely lightweight and that doesn't hinder the tools durability. The ability to swap out components on the fly is the best function on a multitool I've ever experienced. The tools all lock into place very well with not much rattle and the handle design is nice and doesn't bit into the hand during work. Easily the best edc multitool I've owned worth every penny.

Exceptional Tinkerer’s Tool
Update after one week of ownership: the pocket clip broke from literally nothing. I’ll use 3m to put my own on, but that’s ridiculous. Minus one star.I’ve owned and have owned a ton of multitools. Leatherman, Victorinox, even Gerber (unfortunately). I also build my own hybrids of Leatherman and Victorinox. But I wanted something that was more quickly modular on-the-fly than my custom builds for specific circumstances like hiking or in the office or tinkering. This really is everything I hoped it would be. After receiving it, I immediately went on the Roxon website to order the Companion so I could get some of the specialty tools and also be able to carry more of these amazing tools. You’ll need to tinker with it a bit and adjust the toolset and tightness to get exactly what you want, but if you’re already ordering this, you’re probably already aware of that and possess the basic skills to do that. I went a step further and wanted to have three long tools instead of just two. So I ground away a bit of the scissors and a tiny bit of the bracket and now I’m able to fit three long tools in addition to the SEVEN short tools for a total of 10 tools on this flex alone. If I were to carry the companion with a different tool set, that would allow me to carry 20 tools on my person, which is incredible for such a small form factor. Anyway, this is getting very long very quickly and if you’re already this far, you probably already have a good idea and have watched some of the reviews on this. I’d highly recommend at least giving it a try and tinkering with it and it may be just a thing for you. It’s a quality tool that I will be carrying often.

So versatile
For far too long, I would have to get a bigger multitool than I needed to get the tools I wanted, or I’d have to pay a lot or buy a poor quality tool. I have been able to add the tools I want and this is well made. It’s my new everyday carry.

Great idea... Just feels very cheap.
Great multi tool idea but they feel very flimsy & cheap. I will stick with my leatherman.

Excellent flexible tool.
The tool is well-built and it measures up to all the product reviews I have seen by enthusiasts on YouTube. Very happy with the design and the flexibility to switch various tools.

solid built modular multitool
Solidly built and reasonably priced. I bought in conjunction with the flex companion and really can't imagine ever needing another multi tool again. Modular is the way forward!!!
