Q: Why it so much costlier that to with lesser strains and CFUs?

Dear Prasant K, Thank you for showing your interest in Setu Yourgut. There are 3 major things to take into account your particular question. 1. First is the fact that the probiotic activity is being measured at the time of manufacture. This does not at all mean that the bacteria will be alive when that product is consumed. Efficacy of probiotics is based on the microbes being alive. 2. There is no indication of what their bacterial proportions are. For example, our product clearly labels how many billion are per strain. This is important to know as you could theoretically receive something that is loaded with 19 billion CFU of Lactobacillus acidophilus and then 1 billion dispersed over 13 different strains. Our probiotic formulation is well proportioned, as can be seen on our label clearly indicating the amount of CFU per strain. 3. We store our probiotics in temperature between 2-8 degree Celcius and have put in enough overages to ensure you get all the good microbes alive as per the count mentioned on the label. Thanks.
