Excellent watch
It was a little bit hard to get set to time zone. But it is worth it, my mom absolutely loves it. She is able to use a watch again being visually impared. I enjoy her having a "maintenance free" device that I don't have to fix all the time.

Just what I needed!
My mom is severely visually impaired and 99 years old. She could no longer see the face of her old watch. I ordered this one as a Christmas gift and she LOVES it! It took her a few tries to remember which button to push, but she is able to check the time and date herself now. And VERY reasonably priced.

Not very sensitive receiver and marginal for the visually impaired
The first watch seemed to run OK for a couple of days then started to do all manner of strange things like the hands not agreeing with the spoken time.Got it replaced and the second one has been running OK for a week or so now.But the receiver is not very sensitive and sometimes does not update the watch. I have 5 other WWVB clocks here, none of which have any problems updating so I know the signal here is OK. Also the watch is symmetrical, which means for the visually impaired it is difficult to put on with the correct orientation. This could have been avoided if the buttons had been arranged a little differently so one could tell which way is up by feel.

Zone setting is off time zone
Got this for a family member, it shipped to me first so I could set it for her (very important someone needs to be able to see the very small print for setting the watch). When I was setting the time zone was completely off. The east coast was setting as a different time zone and I was in the east coast when setting. Regardless of that I would recommend this watch for seeing impaired, as you can set an hourly announcement of time.

Daylight savings nightmare
I bought this watch for my blind 90+year old mother. We live in Arizona and do not have daylight savings time in the summer. There seemed to be no way to set the watch and not have it change twice a year to the incorrect time in Arizona with daylight savings. Also a little less than user friendly in the first place to set up. Only offers four time zones. (Do not buy this if you live in Hawaii which also doesn't use daylight savings).Sent the watch back.No way a visually impaired person could set this up either.

Great for elderly or visually impaired!
The watch is nice and largeThe only problem is the setting directions are complicated and I never could figure how to turn off the alarm. The individual I bought this for loved it! Also it comes with a stretch band and a leather like band
