Superb pencil good to write takes a lot of pressure of your hand,felt the need of grip after a few minutes

Not suitable for heavy handwriting
Not suitable for English writing and not suitable for heavy handwriting as it was not able perform the very task of protecting the lead. If someone have heavy handwriting then I suggest to go for uni kuru toga pencil then wasting money in this product.

Lead Broke within a day
This product is marketed and hyped for its lead anti-breakage system, that it can handle pressure. However the lead broke within 1 day of using, thankfully the mechanism didn't break. I've been using the basic uni kuru toga pencil since the last year and it never ever broke not even once, even after 4 clicks-it is marketed for its rotating mechanism but it never broke, failing zebra delguard pencil. And plus uni kuru toga was way cheaper. I only bought this pencil for its aesthetic so i don't really care about lead breaking. If you are buying to protect your lead then buy any uni kuru toga pencil not this (its rotating mechanism also absorbs shock really well). Waste of money.

Delguard fails to deliver
This pencil is light weight, compact and nice to look at but those are the only benefits it can provide. Now for the downsides: 1. This pencil breaks the lead more often than others. Delguard mechanism can't prevent the lead from breaking even when writing with light pressure. When the metal sleeve comes down to protect the lead from breaking, it digs into the paper, tearing it. It's a good concept but implemented poorly. 2. The lead advance mechanism is very hard; it's much harder than all the mechanical pencils I have ever used. 3. The grip is hard, OK for short usage but for long sessions, a soft grip is a must. 4. Price is high especially given the little value this pencil offers.
