I love the smell of Phlur Vanilla Skin Deodorant- it’s warm, creamy, and addictive. Compared to the perfume, this deo feels a bit softer and creamier since it’s a solid and I love it! I’ve never had much luck with natural deodorants, but I switched to this one in June and I’m still using it which honestly says everything. The formula has completely changed my underarm skin. It healed irritation I didn’t even realize I was dealing with, and my skin now feels nourished, calm, and healthy. I do reapply a few times a day, which would normally annoy me, but the scent is so lovely that I don’t mind at all. The screw-top packaging is also a big plus, it’s easy to throw in a bag and I never worry about leaks. If you’ve struggled with natural deodorants before, this one is absolutely worth trying. In a sea of vanilla and musky, woodsy deodorants, this one was a literal breath of fresh air. I’ve always preferred clean or light/unscented deodorants, but I love this scent — fruity but also earthy and a little musky so you don’t smell like a teenage girl. Not overly perfumed at all. And it actually works really well. I do moderate to high intensity cardio 4-5 times a week and it holds up at the gym. Doesn’t stain clothes or transfer as easily as some others. This is the first natural deodorant I have been able to easily switch to for good.

If you love Vanilla this is the one. It also seems be working well at keep arm pit BO at bay for me. Being over 70, retired, I’m not as sweaty as when I was working, I have not put this to any heavy duty testing but I am pleased so far. I may like it better than other popular brands I’ve tried and thought I loved. shhhhh. We’ll see what Summer brings with being outdoors more.

When I first started using this product I feel that it did an excellent job keeping bad BO away and replacing it with a lovely vanilla smell. However, over time it started to mix with my pheromones in a weird way and eventually stopped working for smell. Considering it is aluminum free it is not a good antiperspirant if that’s what you are looking for. I’m a sweater so I have gotten used to the moisture if using aluminum free deodorants. Maybe it will work long term for others. It sucks bc the product quality is amazing so I wish it worked long term for me.
