Waste of Money
The fridge made awful ratcheting and clunking sounds almost immediately after installation. 4 months later after 2 tech appointments and replacement parts that didn't solve the problem, Bosch replaced the fridge. Guess what? The new fridge is making the same ratcheting and clunking sounds. The tech says these are indicative of malfunctioning compressors.Neither the fridge nor the freezer maintain even temps. I have had meat defrost in the freezer and milk get warm in the fridge.Bosch customer service people are nice on the phone, but have no power to influence a dysfunctional system of vendors and techs.Update: Bosch accepted a full return on the second fridge. I replaced it with a GE at just over half the price of the Bosch. Save your money!

Door closing issues. Stay away...
I bought this refrigerator from airport appliances in San Jose California. We have had our ref. doors left open so many times which never happened with the similar Samsung ref. we had. So we found that when you push right door to close it gets stuck without closing it all the way. It needs to be forced to close all the way. Followed by closing the left door. After closing the left door, right door pops out a little bit that needs to be pushed again to close it. Otherwise it won't be air tight and may cause condensation.Airport appliances arranged Bosch technician to visit and take a look at the issue. Technician acknowledged the issue and said that his 3 year old Bosch also behaves the same way and this is according to design.I asked technician to write down my complain in the report he refused to do it; saying tat I am putting him in a difficult position. I told him the report is of no use to me if you don't record the complained details. He said he would leave if I force him to write it and he left.Neither Airport appliances nor Bosch are helpful resolve this. Not good experience at all.

Appliance repair said, "Oh no, it's a BOSCH"
Bottom Line: NEVER< EVER< BUY< BOSCH... Failed after 1 year. Appliance repairs don't know how to fix them. Very expensive. Cheap, thin SS cover, dents super easy. Doesn't close right. Not aligned from factory. Chunky, cumbersome doors. Overall, feel I was scammed. I paid over $25,000 for all new appliances at best buy. Very glad my stove isn't a Bosch. Anyway, reviews speak for themselves. Hope BOSCH goes bankrupt on their appliance scam. My fault for failing to adequately check the customer reviews, but I hired someone to procure appliances as I'm so busy. She's fired.

Shelves cracked after 15 months, no replacements from Bosch
I had 2 shelves crack after 15 months (see pictures), 3 months after Bosch disavows any responsibilityfor this "high end" expensive appliance. Bosch's rocket science tech response below., they refuse tofix the manufacturing defect by sending me replacement shelves. Their response below:Mr. XXXX,It has nothing to do with cost, or standing behind our product. There is nomanufacturing defect. This break in the trim panel has existed in your appliance sincethe day you brought it home. The replacement shelves I send would have the samebreak in the same place on the trim panel.I apologize that we aren’t able to resolve this in a satisfactory way. Please feel free toreach out to our Customer Support if we can help in any other way.

Don't buy if you like clean shelves
The glass shelve above the two crisper drawers is glued to the plastic surround so you cannot take the glass out to clean BUT it is not glued well and so dirt or dripping can get in between the center plastic piece and the glass and you cannot clean it. My local person who fixes Bosch agreed it was a defect but Bosch's only response when I wrote them was to say they could not tell me how to clean. Not responsive to the question. I never had this issue with any refrigerator I have ever owned. For a pricey refrig you can do better.

Poor Quality control
Purchased a Black Stainless unit, the doors on the top and the door on the bottom are two different shades of grey. Looks terrible. Bosch said they don't see it, looks fine to them.
