ASICS Kid's PRE Venture 9 Pre-School Running Shoes

We love these. Our four year old hiked her first five miles in these. She felt so cool with her first pair of trail shoes. Perfect fit. Wonderful quality. Easy for her to put on and take off. I love the color. Grip and support on these shoes make this mommy happy. Thank you!

We have gone through a lot of shoes and these have been, by far, the best ones we have found. Most importantly, my son says they feel really good on his feet. While he usually took off his shoes immediately, he will sometimes wear them around the hours for hours on end. They have held up very well, even after several washings (but per the instructions, do not put them in the dryer at any temperature…the plastic soles will melt). Velcro is still in good condition. These shows have fantastic traction and the bottoms are not showing much wear. There are 2 stitches at the toe that inevitably come loose. Cutting them off doesn’t affect the integrity of the shoe at all.

UPDATE- They lasted an entire XC season!My daughter needed these for cross country. They’ve been perfect. She used to have a pair of Merrell hiking shoes for everyday play and we were so excited to find something of similar quality. She plays HARD and the foamy little sneakers at Walmart (or even Sketchers) just don’t cut it for her. Of course, there are lighter running shoes on the market, but these are sturdy and have excellent traction. She and I are pleased!

My son loves them and says they are comfortable. They look nice too.

Good quality but runs small. Very durable, nice colors and very comfortable. Runs a little small son wares size 11 and had to order size 13 to fit his feet. I did return them for free and got bigger size

These are a high quality sneaker that stand up to a lot of rough play from my 5 year old. The velcro and soles last. My son loves the way they look and fit. I love that they were comfortable from day one and offer good support. Good value for the money.

These shoes can take a beating! I love ASICS for my kids now because they can get through the whole school year! It’s still easier and less frustrating for my 6 and 8 year olds to use the Velcro shoes and this Velcro actually lasts. Many shoes for kids with Velcro, the Velcro either stops working or gets destroyed with repeated use. Best kids shoes!

Perfect fit

The shoe is very nice, however the Velcro strap once placed on our son’s foot always pops off. The strap should be longer.
