Sigma 35mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras - Black

Not a pro myself, but I have had my fair share of experience in terms of shooting portraits, streets etc.Thanks to the ever-evolving technology and consumer demands, we have plethora of options to choose from but what matters the most is finding the right fit.I am a big fan of Canon's nifty fifty. But then, it fell and my heart broke. Investing another 9-10k on nifty just didn't seem right. And I waited for almost 5 months to grab a new lens. My research and extensive reading rewarded me with a gem of a glass. Enter, Sigma 35mm.Canon currently do not have a 35mm, well let me rephrase that, Canon currently do not have an "affordable" 35mm the 35mm 1.4L currently cost around 1Lkh+, which is a huge huge investment for an amateur like me. Hence, I decided to put my trust on Sigma 35mm art (which is still not cheap but comparatively cheaper than Canon's)/In terms of image quality, this lens is just pure joy. There's a bit of focus issue with Canon body but thankfully, I have gotten over it.The video from this lens is just breathtaking. Almost makes it a necessary item to have in your arsenal.Overall, I am more than satisfied with my first ever Sigma purchase and I think, I am gonna be sticking with Sigma for sometime now.

I just want to share that the lens is focussing as expected and I have not experienced any issues as reported by a few others.This is also my second art lens, my first being the 135 art. These are undoubtedly the sharpest I own and now I am looking to sell my other lenses.

It’s Razor Sharp. Very well built. Sharpness at centre is 30 Mpic touching highest sharpness possible on Cannon 5D mark IV. Built quality is superb. The focus speed is very fast and silent. 100% focus accuracy through the screen and view finder.

Very nice lens.... Superb bokeh..

Un lente muy muy nítido y con pocas aberraciones, incluso en su apertura máxima (aunque no es recomendado usarlo lo más abierto posible para obtener mejor calidad de imagen) y con un enfoque muy rápido y preciso.Probé el lente por varios meses y no me ha fallado nunca, la uso con 2 cámaras una Canon 80D y en una “R” con adaptador, aunque el resultado es muy bueno en ambos, siento que me daba aun más nitidez y mejor enfoque en mi 80D, aunque es muy poca la diferencia y funciona excelente en ambas cámaras.Tiene una construcción muy robusta, con buenos materiales y un diseño muy bueno.Es uno de los mejores lentes que tengo, ya había adquirido un 50mm art y quería el 35mm para tener otra distancia focal más amplia y puedo decir que ambos son muy buenos lentes a un muy buen precio.El proveedor tardó un poco en enviar el paquete, pero llego incluso antes de la fecha máxima estimada, muy buen servicio y un embalaje muy robusto para evitar daños en el lente.

If you are some one like me who takes portraits on a daily basis but wanted something that was not the Niffty 50mm or the 85mm with a creamy background you want something that captures not just your subject but the surroundings as well, i HIGHLY recommend this lens!I have always struggled with finding a Prime Lens for myself and i now know why this focal length is sought after! if you get the lens its rugged it has a great structure very strong and firm. small enough to fit in any camera bag as well as small and light to have a nice weight with your camera during a photoshoot! IBIS for my R6 is great but the lens on my 5d M3 with stabilization was a bit janky. The portraits i get from this is outstanding its sharp with a creamy background! to come to conclusion the lens is great for stills and i have not used it for filming yet and i look forward to seeing what it captures! One more thing if you are looking to buy this in person I don't recommend it especially if you're in Canada. Amazon sells this lens 500 less then pricing in stores!

It is a decent money commitment, but you really get what you pay for and I'm so glad I made the commitment. The company had excellent communication and used express shipping. Will definitely purchase with this company again.
