Awesome little radio
This is a great little radio and the bluetooth feature makes it even better. It gets very good reception on AM and FM in my area. I use this radio in multiple places. I'm an OG so radios are my "screen addiction". I have it by my computer when I am working. It's in the bathroom when I shower. I use it outside when I'm working on the vehicles or sitting around the garage. I use it when I'm mowing. I use the bluetooth feature to connect to my Shokz earphones coupled with earplugs. Tuning is easy and saving stations is straightforward. Instructions are clear. I'm not sure of the durability. It seems quite sturdy but I'm not hard on my electronic equipment like some are. Volume is decent but sound quality does diminish a bit at medium to high volume, as should be expected in such a small component. This is the third $25 radio I've bought on Amazon in the past three years. One of them only lasted until the rechargeable battery died. It couldn't be recharged. Worked fine with a cord. Oh well. The other worked ok, but no bluetooth and the battery meter on the screen always showed fully charged up until the batteries died. This little Prunus unit is the best quality by far over the others. I'll probably buy a few more as gifts for my kids and grandkids. They don't listen to the radio, but they love bluetooth speakers.

Listen to AM / FM radio on your computer over Bluetooth
Prunus J-618 can connect not only to BT speakers/headphones but it can also pair like a phone to a computer allowing playing music from your PC speakers. This is is a great way to record, filter, and play music. My other BT transmitters will not pair with a computer like this. It's an amazing feature. The FM tuner is better than average for reception. AM about average. Sound is excellent for the size, a little bass leaning. Things I wish it had: Disable backlight option, AM Bandwidth option, tone control, ability to record to TF-card, but those are minor nice to haves and would likely drive up cost and complicate it. It's a great radio for the price and the dark grey looks nice.

I love it, use it every day
So, the onboard speaker is kinda crummy, so if you're looking for an amazing sound, you'll probably want to connect it to a better speaker. But that is literally the only thing that I can say is even remotely negative about this!!! And tbh, for me it's not even a negative. The crummy speaker sounds nostalgic to me, old music hits the right vibe through it. It has a nice warm kind of fuzz to it~ Anyway, so, the #1 amazing thing about this radio to me is that it is THE ONLY ONE I COULD FIND that supports bluetooth out. If you have a nice bluetooth headset, you can listen to the radio on it! It also has bluetooth in, so if for whatever reason you want to play some other device through it, you can. The radio tuner is digital and easy to work. Supports both FM and AM bands. The built in MP3 player is SUPER FAST. Like, if you slot press the button for it and you have a TF card loaded into it, the music will just immediately begin playing. It remembers your place when you turn it off, or remove the TF card, and if you slot in a new card, it will just immediately start playing. It doesn't support anything like playlists or anything, it only plays absolutely everything on the card, but that's fine. It has shuffle and repeat~ It also has a sleep timer, so it can automatically turn itself off after up to 90 mins The battery is also great! I've had this thing running through a 2 day convention, and a couple nights sleep, and it got to like 50%. I didn't have it turned all the way up though, so, mileage may vary, but, the battery seems great to me! It also has a standard headphone jack, I've never used it, but it's there if you want it~ As for the physical, it's a plastic body with plastic and rubbery buttons. The buttons all have a very nice loud clicky feel to them. It feels pretty solid in the hand, the plastic doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It has one of those classic plastic covered LCD screens. Easy to read in a very bright environment, but it also has a very bright backlight that turns on for a few seconds when you press any button. It has an extendable antenna for FM and AM, and gets great signal~ The buttons are all labelled pretty clearly, and many of them have dual functions, so, it's wise to read the instructions if you're not sure about them, but I was able to understand it basically right away by looking at it. The instructions are nicely detailed about what does what though~ So yeah, I just love this thing man, if you're in the market for a radio to carry around with you, with multiple options for what it can play, and how it can play it for you, you really can't go wrong with this one.

Bluetooth works with AM FM & MP3
Prunus J-618 I bought this radio because of its unique Bluetooth feature of being able to listen to AM FM and MP3 music on a wireless headset. Normally, Bluetooth causes interference to AM and FM radio . I was prepared to send it back thinking perhaps the Bluetooth was only for MP3 play. Surprisingly, Bluetooth worked on all three functions, however, AM sound was somewhat fuzzy and attenuated, but still listenable through Bluetooth. Tuning on FM was good and on AM exceptional. FM and MP3 are both stereo on stereo headsets. MP3 is basic in function and manipulation. “Mix”, “single” and “all” were the options as well as “forward one file” or “backward one file”. You can auto scan for presets or set them manually. The buttons are somewhat persnickety, as you can accidentally seek the next strong station when attempting to advance to the next frequency if you hold down the button a little too long. If you do press and hold the button and the radio seeks the next strong signal, but you interrupt it, it will revert to the original frequency instead of stopping at the frequency on the display. Also, when changing radio bands, if you press the button a little too long you will initiate a band scan for automatic presets. Overall, it’s a very good radio. They recommend using a never paired Bluetooth device, such as a Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headset/earphones. Also, to either turn off all Bluetooth devices or to pair initially away from Bluetooth signals. I’ve paired it with my Bose headphones, sleep mask earphones, and my iPhone to receive and play music. Yes, it also has stereo sound on wired headphones/earphones. The beauty of wireless sound means you can set your radio to optimal reception (i.e. attaching a wire to the telescopic antenna to increase FM reception or using a passive loop AM antenna) allowing you the freedom to move about and still enjoy unhindered reception.

Nice digital radio with USB charging. It has support for bluetooth out, my case Bose headphones. Haven't tested other headphones. Just follow the manual to setup bluetooth configuration, be patient while it connects, as it does work, or try again. It is one of the few pocket FM radios with this feature. Be careful with the antenna, don't pull too hard. Company had good support.

Good little AM/FM radio with BlueTooth. Searches and locks into stations nicely and provides good sound quality. Features include large rechargeable battery, backlit display, nice control buttons. Option for speaker, 3.5mm jack or BT earbuds (paired easily with JBL VibeBeam2). Small enough to put in a pocket. Price was fair considering features and quality of reception.

The radio itself is good enough with clear sound and easy to use. But when u want to connect with the wireless via Bluetooth, it us a bit tricky. Sometimes it works, the other times it requires a bit of patience. Have to try few times to make it connect to the wireless headset. 4 stars it is.

Set of features I was looking for: - as small as possible - good battery life - digital tuner with memory slots - both AM and FM bands - sleep timer For these 5 points, this little radio delivers in droves. Build quality is decent, sound quality is above average for this size radio. Everything else included is bonus for my use case: micro SD card slot, Bluetooth both as host and client, backlit display, etc. The only small quibble I got is the use of rechargeable battery instead of more customary 2x standard AA size batteries - I would prefer standard batteries, since I have no information on how long is rechargeable battery going to last and if I will be able to find an industry standard replacement couple of years down the road.
