A really nice and compact powerbank with wireless charging and very strong magnets for MagSafe compatible phones. Heating when wireless charging is a bit of a problem. So I usually prefer charging only with a cable and only use the wireless charging when I forget my cable. Pros: Compact MagSafe Compatible with strong magnets Cons: Major heating issue with wireless charging Some heating with cable charging too Overall, a value for money product with a very easy to carry design.

I purchased this Ambrane power bank specifically for wireless charging, believing it would work as advertised. The product listing states that it supports iPhone 12 and above, but nowhere does it clearly mention that it only supports the older Qi wireless charging standard and not the newer Qi2 standard used by the latest iPhones (like iPhone 15). The Issue: • If you are buying this for wired charging, it works fine. No complaints there. • However, if you are planning to use wireless charging, be aware that it does NOT support full-speed 15W wireless charging on newer iPhones that use Qi2. Instead, you’ll only get 10W charging, not the advertised 15W. • This critical detail about Qi vs. Qi2 was not clearly mentioned on the product page, leading to confusion. Customer Support Experience: After realizing the issue, I contacted Ambrane’s customer support. Instead of acknowledging the lack of clear information in their listing, they simply told me that the problem is due to my iPhone running iOS 18 and using Qi2 wireless charging. This is misleading because it has nothing to do with iOS but rather with their power bank’s outdated charging standard. Additionally, I had to spend ₹340 just to ship the product to their service center, only for them to send it right back to me without a proper resolution. They refused to offer a refund or a proper replacement. Final Verdict: If you only need this for wired charging, it’s fine. But if you are looking for a power bank that supports fast wireless charging for newer iPhones (like iPhone 14 and 15), this is NOT the right choice. The product description should have been clearer about this limitation. This will be the first and last Ambrane product I purchase, and I will be advising my family and friends to avoid this brand as well. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service have left a bad impression. Rating: 0/5 for wireless charging.

I have been using this power bank for the last 15 days. The charging performance is good, but there are a few issues that need improvement. The power bank heats up during self-charging as well as while charging the phone, which is a concern. I ordered the silver color, but it gets scratched very easily. The surface is very smooth, so it tends to slip from the hand. After about five days of usage, I noticed that the battery capacity seems to decrease, and the power bank drains faster than expected. Overall: Decent performance initially, but heating, scratch-prone finish, and quick battery drain affect the overall experience.

I tried this on my Samsung Galaxy S24 & Moto Edge 50 Pro, both wired & wireless & here are my views: • Wireless Charging: charging speed normal, the phone does recognise it as "Fast Wireless Charging" so i guess it's upto the mark. • Heating: the phone does get warm and it's normal while charging wirelessly so no big deal, it didn't get "hot". • Wired Charging: wired charging is normal, not so fast though, but it's manageable. i think most of the people will use it's wireless charging most of the time but just in case you wanted to help others, this can charge their devices in a descent speed. • Build: it's a plastic build with rubber like texture, fingerprint magnet. it's compact though as you can see in the image while i'm holding the S24 with this powerbank attached onto the back. • Magnets: the magnets are good, sticks super well on iPhones. for android, you do get a magnetic ring. although, the magnetic pull decreases significantly if you stick it under the case, you have to stick it onto the case so it keeps in direct contact of the powerbank. though, i don't really feel the need of it, you can still use it normally. for 908rs, this was a good deal for me. let's see how the battery performs in the long run.
