Good quality item.

I needed a basic Wi-Fi router for my small apartment, and this one’s been working great. Setup was super easy, just plugged it in, followed the instructions, and I was online in minutes. It’s not a gaming or heavy-use router, but for the price, it’s perfect if you just want something affordable and reliable without fancy features. Definitely recommend if you’re on a budget and need solid basic Wi-Fi.

router has a very bad range, performance is really bad, speed is 100mbps. they need to specify that each port is just 100mbps and stop advertising 300mbps on the front.

TP Link is a branded name but this product gave me nightmare. I have used its earlier router too, it was better. This model is expensive and sleek in size which is ok but the product quality is way inferior. The wifi signal is so pathetic that you need to run around with your devices to catch the signal even in the room where it is installed. The earlier product which i had was having strong signal and i could use it even in my parking. This one is so weak that as soon i move from my room where it is installed, it goes blank or very weak. Manufacturer should take care of these things else the goodwill of this company will soon be vanished like the wifi signal.

Bought it for 799/- and I'd say it's one of the cheapest good quality routers. Easy setup interface, small & compact, okay-ish WiFi range, tested and was satisfied with the speeds, both via LAN and wireless. Definitely will recommend it for someone who has normal bandwidth utilization and has connections around/less than 50-100 Mbps. The only downside is it has got only 2 100Mbps LAN ports instead of the conventional 4 ports, so if you need to connect more than 2 PCs simultaneously with LAN, you'd have to go for other routers.

This was a disappointment on many levels. 1. The product was made for a Turkish market audience it only had Turkish documentation (confirmed by Google lens) 2. The product is not meant for a US distribution as the model number TL-WR820N does not appear on the company's US English website. To get support or drivers. I had to fake being from the Philippines to find English language support for this product. 3. The a/c adapter did not have a US plug, i needed to use a foreign plug adapter to use it in the USA 4. The product description is VERY misleading. I purchased this item because it has three modes (Router, WIFI extender and WISP) and purported Parental controls. The Parental Controls DO NOT WORK IN WIFI EXTENDER MODE only in router mode. (This was only discovered after a few hours calling TP-Link's unfriendly customer service.) 5. The Parental controls are are very DIY (you have to create your own blacklist or block terms) their software does nothing to help in this regard.

Using this as an extender ... Wifi to WiFi... Range extender and this works well

Bought this to extend my network at home. The option to use it as a access point, range extender, wisp and router is great. The setup is easy and it connected to my main router with no issues and improved my overall WiFi range.
