Excellent product. Works very well if you’re looking for the smoothest base to get a mirror like paint finish.

This stuff is awesome! I've seen a bunch of videos of people using it on their 3D printed parts to get rid of the layer lines, but I didn't think it would work this well. I put two coats on my RC car project and sanded it with 600-grit sandpaper, and it came out as smooth as marble. I highly recommend this product for 3D printed parts.

Spreads evenly, dries quickly and fills up small scratches and marks. Has a pretty nice coverage too. It takes almost 24 hours to "fully" cure and sand the surface. It simply accumulates on the sandpaper rendering it useless if sanded before fully curing. But when it cures up, it provides an even work surface. The cap tends to clog up. So be sure to flip it and spray out some of it to clear the nozzle after use. Only downside i feel is that its a bit on the expensive side...

The quality is amazing, can use to remove lite scratches and get a smooth surface. Two coats are recommended.

Rustoleum does not cheap out in quantity of material and stay under pressure for long after first use which cheaper cans often don't. Ok consistency, thickness , stickiness to surface and even spray. Not very good as filler as it's very fine. You need to prepare the surface without scratches. I have used primers from several spray can manufacturers. This one could be cheaper. More stickier would have been better (I am using plastic paint promoter).

I’ve been using Rust-Oleum Automotive 260510 12-Ounce primer spray to coat 3D printed models (mostly PLA) in preparation for fine sanding and painting. So far, I’m very happy with the results. It applies smoothly and evenly when you follow a few key tips: - Keep the can about 30 cm (12 inches) away from the model - Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy layer - Allow proper drying time between coats This approach prevents drips, runs, or pooling, and makes subsequent sanding much easier and more effective. The primer adheres well to PLA, provides a solid base for paint, and doesn’t seem to react negatively with the material. I may update this review later after more long-term use and painting, but at this point everything is performing exactly as hoped. Highly recommended for anyone priming 3D prints. 5 stars!

Waiting on back order just arrived works a treat for me love using it woks

Perfecto para el postprocesado de impresiones 3D. Permite ocultar las líneas de la impresión y después de una lijada con lija de 400 o más fina, deja una superficie lisa. Puedes dar varias pasadas y deja la superficie lista para el pintado. Yo lo he utilizado con pintura vinílica o con laca en aerosol. Con ambas funciona bien.
