Works really well to spot treat before using the Rug Doctor X3 we purchased some time ago from Amazon. So far just test-treated 5 spots in one room of our home wall to wall 25 year old hotel carpeting. We chose to replace the original carpet with hotel carpet just 3 years after moving in due to high traffic of our large family & extended relatives. Our carpet gets cleaned anually. This time when we' are done next week, I believe it will be fabulous. This time next year... I hope that we've found a hotel carpet pattern that we like well as the current pattern. We really like the ease and durability of hotel carpet. I also like this carpet cleaning chemical. Thank you Amazon!!!

A product that actually works!
I've tried about 20 other "similar" products that were all a waste of money.But - THIS PRODUCT WORKS!It removed 20 year old stains that NO OTHER product would even phase.I WILL BE BUYING MORE AS SOON AS THIS RUNS OUT.Great product that lives up to the hype!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have tried a lot of other products that didn't work as promisedEffectiveness:Worked! I was shocked at how well this removed the stain. Stain removal:This took orange chalk out of our new carpet.

Expensive spot cleaner not as good as Spot Shot.
This product doesn't work like the ads show, Spot Shot works better and costs less even though you have to scrub a little.

Tv showed that all one had to do was spray it on and the spot disappered. I had to use a brussh.
I had to get down and brush the cleaner into the carpet. Two spots didn't come clean-I will try it again to see if will get rid of it.Spray effectiveness:Only 2 spots didn't come out-rest was clean.Speed:Liked the speed of applying it.Stain removal:didn't get two old spots but rest came very clean. Save you money.
I used it on a coffee stain on my six month old rug and it took five times following directions to remove it and it's not 100% removed. It did not work as advertised for me. It is not returnable so I now own a can of something that does has No use.
