Bosch Electric Powered Professional Table Saw

I bought this product 2-3 years ago when I started DIY_ing shoe cabinets, wardrobes and a lot of stuff out of MDF.I should say this product is really amazing. I bought this from a bosch dealer nearby where I get my other bosch products for a very good price.Its very strong and build quality feels to last long. Blade provided along is a coarse cutting blade (I believe 24 teeth) and with that had no issues cutting 4 inches thick teak and rosewood (Blade leaves some marks onto the cut-face. I believe it is expected from a coarse blade). I use 100 teeth blade to cut laminated MDF, arcylic sheet and multiwood which gives a smooth finish on both sides.The switches are placed very conveniently that you can use your knee to switch it off. You may need an extended table to support that large wooden panel and also to support the longer cut piece.If you can make a cross-cut sled yourself, the job will be easy for you.Accuracy is something you can calibrate once you assemble the table saw.Bosch after sales service cannot be competed by any other brands. Other products that are available at cheaper rate have serious reliability issues on its accuracy.Bosch GTS 10J is a portable small table saw. its very light and mostly made of aluminum. If you factor in these and rate the machine, it would definitely be a 5 stars.

I purchased this in Mar 2015 and have been using the saw for cutting smaller workpieces.It is fairly accurate. Edge guide sets up quickly and is rigid.The best feature of this table saw is the portability - it is very easy to move and carry it around in a car.The piecel I got from Bosch does not have a dust port on the top of the acrylic cover as shown in photo.Not sure if that would be included the shipment. Dust extraction is average on this machine. Even with a vacuum attached, lot of dust gets thrown at the front of the saw.This is not suitable for ripping a 8'x4' sheet since the max width of a parallel cut is 46 cm.For ripping a large sheet circular saw like Bosch GKS-190 is the best fit.To get trained on using power tools and this table saw, search and register for the Basic Carpentry Workshop, (Bangalore & Pune)

I have been using this product for last 6-7 years. Now I see the lift of the blade does not work. On analysing I found the two bevel gear used are from plastic. Can you imagine a product (A table saw) which is worth of around 90K can use lastic on its core components.Some other issues are like the armature/gear got play So I suggest you to refrain from most of the bosch products. They are very expensive. Go with something cheap.Overall the product will die after 4-5 years of age. And you will get 4-5 product at the same price.

The actual MRP of this product is 55650. It is being sold above the MRP. I have reported this issue multiple times. But no one gives a damn about it.
