This product is incredible. This is a slippery, gel-like cleanser that is cleansing and hydrating even when I have dry, sensitive skin. Very, very comparable to IS Clinical Cleansing Complex which I also love, but a better price point, more neutral packaging if left on the counter, AND a pump that doesn’t clog/plug up since last use. It also has a similar consistency (but Prequel is a superior product all around) to Naturium’s niacinamide cleansing gel.

Moisturizing and smooth on the skin. Doesn’t leave my skin irritated and I can wash twice daily with this cleanser as I couldn’t in the past with any other products. The quality is 10/10 for me. Definitely recommend.

I adore this cleanser! It is so moisturizing and doesn't leave that horrible tight feeling most cleansers do while also making my face feel so clean and nice. A little goes a very long way. Love that I grabbed these on sale, such a great price!!

Firstly, so much volume! You definitely get your monies worth with two giant bottles. I use 2 pumps per wash and I’m being generous as one pump would probably be enough. Secondly, I love that it’s gentle yet effective enough to use all over my body! 2025 was an “improve my skin” year and showering with this is a must. The pump top makes it very easy to use when in the shower too. I was worried the texture would be ‘slimy’ but it isn’t! The viscosity is thicker than products I used in the past, but it is by no means slimy so do not let that deter you. And it’s fragrance free.

Love the quality of the face wash - non drying and lathers so well. Minus one star because one of the pumps in the 2-pack was broken off and Amazon didn’t resolve the issue (I just asked for a replacement). The company should really package these a little better.

I love the slippy feel of this cleanser because of the glycerin. It does not dry out my skin. I spent years trying everything to fight my blackheads, to no avail. I'd tried SA cleansers before, but I would just quickly rub them on and rinse off. Once I started really rubbing them in and letting them sit on my skin (not long, maybe 10-20 seconds) before rinsing off, I found that my blackheads really lessened. I don't notice a scent with this cleanser. Because of the glycerin, a little goes a long way. Not even a full pump needed per wash. However, I do still keep a bottle of another brand of SA cleanser in my shower. I feel that one has a better "grab" to my skin so I continue to use that one as well. But the Prequel definitely cleanses without drying my skin out in winter.
