Thanks Amazon for timely delivery. The knife is just as shown in the demo image. It's iron so does rust little, needs proper care. It's heavy to hold. I can easily break open brown coconuts into 2 equal parts with this knife, at home. Coconut meat grating has become easy at home with this. Quality feels good but I've just bought it, don't know how long it will last. I may buy another in future. Go ahead and buy.

Received the knife today. Overall quality is good and as expected, but the packaging is extremely poor. The knife was wrapped only in newspaper and an Amazon plastic bag, with no proper protective packing. Because of this careless packaging, the front top tip of the knife was flattened during delivery, which is unacceptable for such a product. This is my initial impression. I will update the review later after extended use if I find anything else. ✅ Pros Heavy metal knife – you can clearly feel the quality and weight Blade quality is excellent Overall value for money ❌ Cons Packaging is pathetic for such a sharp and premium item Handle quality is average Handle length feels a bit long (around 3–4 inches more than ideal), making it less comfortable Steel rings on the handle should be wrapped with rubber or similar material – currently, they itch and feel uncomfortable in hand Handle assembly could be improved 📝 Conclusion Despite the above cons, this is a very good knife in terms of blade quality and performance. I would still recommend buying it, as it is worth the money. If the handle continues to feel uncomfortable, I plan to replace the wooden handle with a custom metal handle from a local fabricator. ⭐ My Ratings For this Product - Knife Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) Handle: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/10) Packaging: ⭐ (1/10)

Worth the money. Very sharp and a big help in cutting wood. Looks sturdy and should last a long time.

Very sturdy, very good and heavy blade, sharp, well balanced, bought it primarily for splitting coconuts and serves its purpose well. The handle is a bit dry and hence i oiled it. But it makesit slippery too. TTHe blade is bluish-black truck spring steel. Can be used outside the kitchen too in the garden area. This would last for a few decades. My grandma's kitchen blade (different brand) is still functional in Bangalore. Would highly recommend it.
