Versatile unit, powers most tools. Great for work or recreation.
I'm renovating a house and don't always have access to a socket, so bought this. Charged it fully overnight (cheap rates) and haven't needed to recharge it yet. Powered shop vac, SDS drill, chainsaw etc. Will run my 4 monitor computer rig and all devices for 5 hours. Will work as an UPS for protection against power cuts, didn't know this when I bought it. It's charged my tablets, phone, power banks. Will power up my DashCam outside of the car via 12V socket. App not that useful, I don't bother with it. Feels very robust. Very minor criticisms would be, 12V socket needs a cover if only for aesthetics, buttons should be back-lit as it's hard to turn on USB/Mains in the dark. Will buy solar panels for this in summer. Outside of productivity use, I can see this being super useful for daytrips - powering low wattage kettles and induction hobs. Will strap it into the car. Great bit of kit when bought at the right price.

Quality product, well designed.
I needed a power station because my village gets regular power cuts & I wanted something I could also use in a camper. There is huge choice in this sector but the balance is between capacity, portability & cost. The capacity of the explorer 1000 is sufficient to power my phone, tablet, laptop, speaker, lights & an electric blanket for at least 5 hours. That’s what I wanted & what it gives me. Its peak capacity is 1500w meaning it won’t run most kettles, toasters or air fryers. But that doesn’t worry me. If you want to run domestic appliances get a bigger unit. Its portability & practicality is excellent. It has a smart design with a folding rubber gripped handle meaning you can stand your electrical stuff on the flat top to charge. It has rubber pads on the base which are very grippy. The outputs, 3 pin, USB a & c (x2) plus 12v car type socket pretty much cover everything. It’s a shame there is no cover for the 12v socket. I’ve had to add my own. It’s easy to carry one handed & the rubber grip on the handle means it feels secure. The power cable isn’t the longest but a standardised power plug means it’s easy to swap out if you want to. The solar panel is light & well designed. It has a comfortable carrying handle & variable pop out stands meaning you can change its angle when using outdoors. It even has a small sun gauge in a corner to let you get maximum power. I haven’t used it yet in anger as it’s winter, but I have no doubts it will work. The solar power cable is about 10’ long & has USB a & c outlets half way down increasing its usefulness on the road. As for affordability, I got it during a Black Friday sale & it was almost half price. At full price there are multiple alternatives I would choose if money was my primary concern. But buy in this sort of sale & you can’t go wrong. The final comment comes from a friend who is a small camper owner who uses his (different make) power station far more than I do. “I wish I’d seen this instead”. I believe the unit was designed by ex Apple engineers. If true I can see the similarities to Apple products. Expensive but brilliantly designed.

Top quality product with superb customer service
My purchase of the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 was driven by price, it had been significantly reduced at the time of purchase (£450), although i had previously looked at it. It has a 1070Wh battery which is more than enough for my needs. I purchased for a camping trip in the Lake District, it held up really well charging electronic devices (DC), an LED strip light (AC) and a heated throw (AC) for night time which provided much needed warmth. We had an electric pitch which meant that we could re-charge the Jackery daily, but having had a positive experience, i am looking to make an additional purchase of the 100W or 200W SolarSaga Solar Panels; this should provide enough charge during the day for night time use. I have a gas stove to boil water and make meals during camping trips, but the Jackery 1000 v2 would easily power a small kettle, toaster and hob for short periods of use, great for non-electric camping pitches. It is a small enough item, it travelled in the rear footwell of our car, it isnt lightweight; but easy enough to carry 1 handed. There is a lot of competition in the Solar Battery space, but i chose Jackery on the brand name. I had a query with customer services which was resolved professionally and quickly, fantastic customer service.

Amazing bit of kit
Great bits of kit for camping and when not camping I use it as a UPS getting the full use out of the device is amazing. Might only have two sockets on the front however I have connected an extension cable in to 4 sockets and use my air fryer absolutely with ease an amazing bit of kit, so good I've got two.

Expensive, but robust and trustworthy
Recently bought so I may occasionally update my review. I selected the 1000 which is an entry level model, mainly due to the fact I can't afford any more powerful models. I like the overall build quality and the device seems robust and delivered on it's promises and specs. On the positives it charged relatively fast on mains power, but I am still to test it charging via a DC car adapter. I used it to power a fridge freezer and seems to hold power for plenty of hours. I noticed that the unit discharged even without load, but it does have an option to automatically turn off. On a side note I bought it during spring "sales" to discover that after the end of the "sales" period the price was the same after adding a "voucher". Update: as expected charging via car DC output is relatively slow and it could take more than 9h to charge up to 85%

On/Off lange gedrückt halten.
