Made of good materials and should last till he is a toddler.
Awesome and totally handy to have a carrier for the baby. Baby loves it. Just over 6 months old and liked hanging out in it. Safe also. Love the sun shade it has and the hip strap support. Would recommend this unit.

Great Carrier
Great product! Lived it for our Yosemite trip! Size was perfect for my 14 month baby!

Almost perfect, but definitely great for the price
Everything i needed in this type of carrier. Baby stays nice and shaded and falls asleep easily in it. It also supports baby's head well enough when she does fall asleep. I've taken it on a few small hikes and when we visited and Grand Canyon, and it was great even on the most sunny days.I wish the stabilizer/leg retracted by itself when i pick up the bag instead of needing to manually press buttons to fold it in.

Good, but I returned it
We bought this for our 2.5 year old daughter when we went camping last month, so that we could take her hiking without dragging her along. We didn’t end up using it, and just returned it because our daughter didn’t like, we think she felt too confined/claustrophobic. I still give it a 4/5 though, because it was pretty comfortable for my husband to carry, and their was a good amount of support to hold up our daughter.

Buy this instead of big name products
This bag is great for hiking with toddlers, child loves it bottom has great capacity. We hike mountains and child falls asleep. Very secure and better price than competition.

VERY COMFORTABLE!
The media could not be loaded. I am surprised at just how comfortable this pack is. For reference, I am 5’3”, 180 pounds. My son is 21 months old and about 28 pounds. The pack is adjustable depending on your height. I saw another review that a shorter woman said it was uncomfortable for her stature, and I disagree. I could imagine that wearing any weight on your back for a couple miles would become uncomfortable. Our first hike was a mile and a half just to see how he would do, I felt no rubbing into my back or shoulders, and he didn’t complain a single time except for when the wind picked up for about 2 mins. I very seriously recommend this pack to anyone. Very easy to use. I do agree it’s a little awkward to buckle your child in once they’re in the pack, but it’s absolutely not the worst experience. It’s a wonderful pack.

Great Backpack!
We have used this backpack to carry our infant son a few times while hiking in the past year! It was been a great purchase so far. He loved being in it and could even nap in it. There was plenty of storage for our things and he was tightly secured in it while we hiked. I would highly recommend this!

So perfect we came back for a second one.
My husband (6'2" , 250lbs) and I (5'4" , 155lbs) both needed good, durable backpack carriers to carry our twins around during hikes and long outings. After hours of searching and researching, we decided we would get one of these and see if it was worth getting a second... We bought our second the day the first got here after we both tried it on and realized how perfect they are. Very adjustable for size, very comfortable and well padded. Lots of pockets and the canopies work great. The bars are well placed and didn't dig into my husband or mine sides. We were easily able to do our own babies seat and swing the pack onto our own backs and let the bar in and out on our own by reaching around the sides. It takes a moment to find the buttons to release the bar to fold, but you get used to it quickly. Our twins are 12mo size now and will absolutely still fit them 2 years from now still. Even the foot stirrups are height adjustable.Be prepared that this is a hiking backpack carrier, not a sling, so it's gonna be a little big. But overall (even for me at 5'4") I feel the size is perfect and not overwhelmingly big like some carriers out there.
