I have had a few different ropes over the years but this rope ticks all the boxes : Beautifully packaged and well made. A lot of care has gone in to the design of this rope. Weighted handles which are non-slip and a good size. Three easily shortened, weighted ropes which provide an all-round workout. Excellent bearings for super, smooth skipping. Replacement parts, including ropes and handles, are available online from the Valour website. You get all this at a very reasonable price. I have seen a similar product in the past which was far more costly. I am absolutely loving using this rope. You can do all the usual manoeuvres including crossovers, and the weighted rope- I have started with the red- needs only a flick from the wrists as you feel the weighted rope connect with the rise and fall of your own body weight. I don't usually review a purchase until I have used it for some time so I cannot comment on longevity, but I am so impressed with this rope that it seemed it right to do so this time.

This is by a distance the most effective skipping rope I have ever used. I had one similar to this, as in same fittings at the end of the handle & it was my favorite until one side broke, I preferred it over the £100 crossrope. But neither come close to this Valour rope. From inception I was skipping like a pro again, effortlessly. This is a first, to skip better than ever with a new rope, it normally takes a little while. The handle is brilliant, it has a torsion style tennis grip, & very well made but the actual rope and bearing system is impeccable! I've used well over 30 different skipping ropes of wieghts & sizes but this is the best I've used in my life. Plus you get extra fittings for everything, incase any issues. The black rope with the handles & no weights inside is better than any high quality speed rope. & you have options to make it alot harder & heavier. I will be buying another one, possibly two & would highly recommend anyone thinking of buying this rope to stop thinking and just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Great rope set, worth the premium price tag. Good weight on the handles, and one solid weight in each handle feels great and the wrap feels very luxury. Great bearings, if you hang the handle and spin it, it will go for days. Have only used the red rope as yet but its brilliant great thickness and its solid all the way through. Bad sides, ive noticed when i jump at a lower pace, the clip system wobbles slightly but its not too bad. Its incredibly smooth at medium to fast pace And a few times if i miss a skip the metal ends of the rope hit my knuckles drawing blood once. But im a big lad so ill get over it. So watch for that. Overall best rope ive used, previous have been a cheap plastic then a weighted boxers leather rope that i loved prior to this. Its very long, so i keep taking an inch or so until i get it to the correct length, i dont want to cut too much off at once. I feel its taken me from beginner level up to early intermediate, 2 days from this rope and ive progessed loads, learning and sustaining maybe 4 or 5 new skipping techniques/stances.

Great bit of kit! I have ordered this in the past. Always kept losing it that’s why. Not to no product quality or anything. I like how it’s very customisable and also smooth when using it. Tailor it to your height. Use with or without the weights. Makes working out a breeze. Long lasting as well.

I bought this rope after a going through a couple of cheaper ropes that invariably break, or where the plastic rope rips off though wear or the handles crack when I trip on the rope and they fall out of my hand. I’m ok at skipping, I wouldn’t say I was a beginner but certainly not an expert, and have been skipping several times a week to try and get fit and lose the love handles. I went for this one as it had good reviews and looked to be a quality make without breaking the bank. When you at things like the cross rope, they are ridiculously expensive, and there is no way in the world I am going to pay that kind of money for a skipping rope. The rope feels good quality, nice comfy grips almost like a tennis racket. It arrived with two ropes, a black and a red one, with the red being slightly thicker and heavier. It also has a couple of weights to fit inside the handles. I obviously made the rookie mistake and let my ego get carried away and thought I’d go straight for the red rope, after all it didn’t sound like it was very heavy at all. However when I tried it I was surprised, it felt quite heavy, especially when I could only compare it to the previous light plastic ropes and handles I had been used to. So I ended up changing to the black rope! This still feels heavier than the previous cheaper ropes I had used, but it was certainly easier than the red. It is just something you will adapt to and get used to the more you use it, as after a few sessions of using the black rope I’ve adapted much better to it, but it still gives a tough workout, I’m not ready for the red rope yet or the handle weights! 😂 Overall very happy with it at this stage. I’ve only had it a week or so and used it three or four times, hence the title so far so good. Time will tell how it holds up compared to my previous ropes. The rotation mechanism seems sturdy and well designed, so I’m hoping to get a lot of good use from it.

Awesome rope. Options on weight are excellent. You can get a really good speed going as it turns over seamlessly and the ropes are heavy enough to allow that. Ability to cut it to the size you want is great. Love the way the rope locks into the handles. Seems very durable. Takes a bit of experimentation to get it to the right length for you but taking it apart, cutting a bit off and putting it back together is quick, probably about 2-3 minutes all in maximum. Very happy with this purchase.

If I could give more stars I would. If youre in the market for a PVC rope or a weighted rope to up your training then stop looking. There is so much choice on amazon and I spent a long time looking. This is the top tier, best you can get. The build quality is amazing, something that's hard to come by. I sprung for the set of three ropes and it adds so much versatility into a already versatile exercise. Its easy to set up and tailor to how you like your ropes. Honestly, I'm chuffed. If I had one gripe, its the fact it doesn't come with a case or bag to store it in, but I can use the shipping box. Thank you for a excellent product.

I have now used this rope for the last two years and it is by far the best rope I have used. The option to use either the light rope or heavy rope and you can use it with weights in the handles or take them out gives a lot of options for variation. Having used the rope in different locations and on different surfaces, occasionally dropping the handles whilst trying tricks. I have found that they are very hard-wearing and great value for money. You won't find another bearing or weighted rope at this price with this level of quality. This is now my go-to rope, I would struggle to use any other brand and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good rope. An excellent rope at a low price from a great company that goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Some advice I would give for using it - Make sure you are measuring it at the right length for you, and if you are new to skipping you might find it easier to learn by starting slow with the weighted rope as you can feel where the rope is in the air vs the thinner rope that comes in the package.
