The pillow is very soft to the touch. Just the right thickness. Head is comfortably aligned and It's comfortable to sleep on. I feel that it does help with neck stress and I have less stiffness and soreness in my neck in the morning. I've only had it for a few days but I do see improvements. It did not have an odor as some reviews read. I also didn't feel that the divots in the pillow did any type of "messaging". That should be removed from the description of the product as it is very misleading. It is a cooling material too so my head doesn't get hot laying in one position too long. In my opinion I seem to be benefiting from using it. Everyone's neck issues are different so what works for me might not necessarily work for you. Sometimes you just have to try multiple items to see if it's a good fit for you. This one happened to work for me so I would recommend giving it a try.

I love this pillow! I suffer from pain in my neck and back and I sleep on a mountain of pillows to help cussion my joints, which due to Fibromialgia they are almost always in pain. This pillow has replaced all other neck pillows bar-none. The versatility... I can move my neck to the corners if I need to be higher, my neck is supported very well when in the middle, it keeps its shape while being super comfortable and has support to lay your hands on the sides.Now, my husband is used to laying on a mostly nonexistent pillow. I call it the pancake. Due to this, when he tried this pillow, it was too high and uncomfortable for him. He would have returned it if it were bought for him, BUT IT IS ALLLLL MINE (villainess laugh). So if you also use a pancake pillow to sleep on, this pillow will more than likely not be to your liking.My only want with this pillow is a separate pillow cover that contours to the shape of this pillow. I don't want to get the original one sweaty and would like another for an added layer of protection. I used a regular pillow cover and it makes it hard to support your arms on the side as the pillow is meant to do.Other than that I highly recommend this pillow.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don’t know why I picked this one. It looked about the same. I’m getting better sleep and my neck isn’t sore in the am.

The pillow is a little tall in the neck region. It would likely be fine for an average height person. I am short so the pillow doesn’t fit quite right to cradle my head and the neck support is a bit too high. Otherwise it is a daily comfortable pillow.
