Not good. Very loud non UK plug sent back for refund

Had this less than a month. "Silent low mode" appears to be a myth as there is very little noise difference between High and Low fan speeds, with only a marginal difference in air output. Area served seems to also be worth taking with a pinch of salt, as it needs to be on all the time to cool my flat (approx 13m2) by 4-5C. After approx 50 hours of use over the last 3 weeks, it has packed up with the fan either not working at all or making a humming noise as if it's trying by doesn't have the torque to turn.Other notes, the conversion to UK plug supplied is pretty cheep and was badly installed on the original plug. Window guard is only of use if you have either vertical or horizontal slide windows. If it's hinged, you will need to source alternative.
