Good Coffee Maker
Let me preface this review by saying that I've owned three Keurig Duo(s) over the past 4 years (now including this one). All were different versions of the Duo. There really isn't anything that sets this one apart for me other than the digital clock, which I could take or leave. Keurigs perform well until they don't. I can say they last slightly longer than other brands with comparable makes and perform solidly until they decide not to turn on again (usually without warning or signs of obvious signs of struggling leading up to it); they just randomly do not turn on one day. So far, in my experience, they've been lasting 1-1.5 years. The pros are that it consistently makes a good cup of coffee. I enjoy having the single-use side for morning coffee and work-from-home days, and I appreciate the option to make a pot to fill my travel mug when I am on the go. The option to make a strong or weak cup is also a good option, but I never go with the latter, so it's only ever used when I have guests. While you can use it to make iced coffee, I am not a fan, so I haven't really tried that out. In terms of performance, it's relatively quick, and I really like the fact that it doesn't take 20 minutes to brew a pot like the old-school coffee makers. As far as clogging and K-cups go, it handles frequent use like a champ - It hardly, if ever, clogs, and I haven't experienced any half-brewed coffee flowing out of the sides, or exploding cups. It is because the Keurig is so popular that if you need a spare part, there are plenty of options available, which is helpful if you want something extra to brew loose tea or coffee. Even if you have to replace a needle/motor or get a new carafe, there are options everywhere. Asthetically speaking, it's sleek, compact, but has a decent sized resevior, and fits/sits perfectly on top of my K-Cup drawer. It's black, so it blends with pretty much everything; the silver trim provides a decent offset. All in all, I really like Keurig. Hopefully, this one lasts longer.

Very practical and versatile coffee maker ✨🫶
This coffee maker is excellent because it combines drip coffee and capsule brewing in one machine. It allows you to enjoy traditional coffee or use capsules depending on your mood. It works fast, the coffee tastes great, and it brews at the perfect temperature. It’s easy to use, doesn’t take up much space, and is very easy to clean. Great quality and modern design. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with this duo!
This was a little intimidating for me coming from a simple coffee pot and also a simple Keurig to the combined station. Read the manual and then read it again to make sure you understand how it works as it works quickly and can pour all over your counter if you don't have a cup down. We learn this from experience, twice. Now that we know our way around the product, we are extremely happy with the ease of both sides. The coffee is good and strong and the hot plate does not seem to burn it. The Keurig side bruise three different sizes and is very quick to brew either a an ice or a strong cup of coffee. This is a good deal and we like the black in our kitchen.

A good, versatile coffeemaker
We've owned a lot of different Keurig's; some worked well for us and others weren't that great. But so far, this one is a winner. Granted, we've only had it for a couple days, but so far, we're really pleased. We had been looking for a coffee-maker that could do both K-cups and a carafe-full, and this one fit the bill. The carafe is large and sturdy, and the K-cup side has the 'multi-brew' system that allows more coffee flavor to come through. I like my coffee very strong, and was able to use the 6 oz. size with the 'Extra Strong' button for a really good cup of strong coffee. I also like that there's an 'Extra Hot' button as well, since I do like my coffee very hot. The other nice feature with this machine is the large water reservoir; I think it's 72 oz., which is one of the bigger ones available. It's easy to fill and to take on & off. It also couldn't be easier to use: For a K-cup, just plunk in the pod and push 'Brew'--that's it. It brewed quickly and without splashing all over like some of the others we've tried. My only negative feedback is that it didn't even come with even ONE little coffee filter for the basket over the carafe. And since I didn't have any, I had to buy some before I could even try it. Normally a drip machine will come with a few 'starter' filters. And secondly, although the water reservoir has a place for a water filter, you don't get one with the coffeemaker. I've gotten them with other coffeemakers, but this one just says it's 'ready' for a filter, but you have to of course buy the 'filter starter kit'. Since they were offering the machine at a much lower price though, I guess I should have expected that they'd skimp on the accessories. I can't speak for how well it will hold up long-term, but so far, I'm really happy with this coffeemaker.

MORE AND MORE, Continuous issues, only 30 days old, DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!
I bought this on Jan 2 and have been using it for only 24 days. Today I continued to get a "add water" message (with a full tank) and "error 8" message followed by "dry". I cleaned the tank and re-filled several times and unplugged the machine to re-set it as online has indicated. I was finally able to get the machine to brew. Mind you this is a brand new machine and after 24 days has issues. I use filtered water so this should not be an issue. I have notified Keurig to see if there are solutions to fix these issues. I will keep this rating updated, but use caution when purchasing this machine. EDIT: So I have been able to get the coffee machine to work once again. After getting errors, I unplugged the machine for a period of time, flushed out the water tank, and plugged it back in with fresh water. I was able to get it to function normally for the past several days. I use the timer and it have brewed coffee without issue for a few days. The single use side is functioning normally. Don't know if unplugging it reset whatever chip is inside but it works for now. If it continues to function normally over the next few months I will change my star rating. For now, I am skeptical of long term use. 02/08/25 UPDATE: DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!!!!!! I experienced same issues as listed about. Tried to repeat the "fix" three times without success. Contacted Keurig, but I am not optimistic I will receive a full refund. Amazon also closed my ability for a return on 02/01/2025, so I now can ONLY DEAL WITH KEURIG. If I could give zero stars I would. 02/28/25 ANOTHER UPDATE: Was able to finally get Keurig to send me another machine on 02/16/25. On 02/28/25, I received the new machine. Unpacked and carefully followed the directions to the "T". Plugged in the machine as directed and it failed to turn on. Tried a different outlet, nothing. Tried another machine and it powered up without issues. Not an outlet problem. It was clearly a machine problem walked around the house trying the machine on various outlets, nothing. Called Keurig and they ran through troubleshooting, nothing. Machine DEAD ON ARRIVAL. They tried to tell me since this was a warranty replacement machine, it no longer was subject to warranty. EVEN THOUGH THIS MACHINE WAS DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I was able maintain my composure and convince Keurig to send me another machine, which will be here in 7-14 days. Stay tuned folks! BTW way, my first machine still has the above issues and continues to periodically stop working, then work, then not work... I would love to have my money back, but Keuring rather spend more money on shipping and returns than refund my purchase price. Come on Keurig, you can do better. EDIT: 04/20/25, ANOTHER UPDATE. Since my last update on 02/28/25, I received a third replacement machine from Keurig to replace the dead one. Got #3 all set up on 03/03/25 and ready to go and it worked until 03/28/25, exactly 25 days, then I got the dreaded "add water" and "error 8" message. Called Keuring and asked for a refund, but they still refuse since I bought it from Amazon. Asked to get another comparable machine, which they didn't have in stock (UGH). Ordered #4 replacement. On April 3, 2025, #4 replacement machine arrived. Got #4 all set up and on 04/20/25, it stopped working like the others. This one only lasted 17 days. EDIT: Keurig has started ignoring my calls. I was referred to a "specialist" who told me I needed to send my #4 machine in first BEFORE I could get sent a replacement. As I did not want to send them my machine without a replacement first, they started ignoring my emails and are now refusing to correspond with me at all. #4 machine continues to brew 2 cups then shut off reporting it is dry when there is a full water tank. I will never purchase another Keurig product and you should seriously consider doing the same. Four unusable machines in 8 months is ridiculous!

Better than Gen1 overall, not perfect.
Purchased this for 2 reasons to replace my first gen Duo. The "strong" option for k-cups and the auto timer for the brew side. Setting the auto timer is intuitive, press the auto brew button just follow the blinking lights. You will have to do this daily, you cannot set a weekly schedule, but its quick and easy. I set it to run 8 mins before my alarm, so I wake up to 10 cups of coffee. I feel as though the brew side isn't as hot, but close enough not to be worried. The single serve side works great, the stronger brew works as I hoped, and I look forward to using the other options over time such as the ice brew option that lowers the temp slightly. Water tank seems to be about the same capacity as the gen 1. I like the placement of the buttons better than how they did it on gen 1. overall I am pleased with the gen 2 design and function, even the price!! its was a little cheaper than what we paid for the gen 1 model. Took a star away for 2 reasons, the temp on the carafe side, seems like its not as hot as the gen 1, and reading reviews i see people had some issues after a year causing me to get the 3 yr insurance.

Coffee 2 ways
I was not just one of those regular coffee moms but a k cup mom. I didn’t think I needed a whole pot of coffee. I could run my whole day on one cup of coffee, PTA meetings, teacher helper, grocery shopping by 10am, diner on the table by 5pm, soccer practice, dance class, homework all done on one cup…my sanity was however non existent. My kids were little, I needed coffee for on the run, I couldn’t sit and drink a cup. But now my kids are in college some even out on their own, and life has slowed down a little bit. I can now enjoy a whole pot (well me and the Mr.). I don’t have to run around looking for the missing shoe, or scream we are going to be late 50,000 times, or barely remember I was supposed to bring the reading time snacks. Now I sit and enjoy my pot of coffee watching the YouTubes of people in other countries grocery shopping. Now occasionally I do use a k cup to remiss about the olden days, but I mostly enjoy the pot of coffee and the especially the time brew so I wake up to the smell of coffee and peace. I do have a fresh college graduated who uses the k cup side all the time. She loves it! Now if she could get a job that would be awesome because she’s expensive! Put her on your prayer list, she don’t have to move out but she needs a J O B! Overall this coffee maker will not give you your sanity back but it helps to be caffeinated! It’s sturdy, doesn’t take up to much room and not to heavy but has a good weight to it. Enjoy your coffee and enjoy your day! Love y’all

Works Well
I previously had a FlexBrew and really liked having the option to make just a cup on demand or brew an entire pot. Having served us well for almost nine years, I was looking to get another one when I saw that the Keurig K-Duo was on sale for the same price with a few more features...like the water tank and brew size selection. I really like the water tank and it is very easy to fill; no more spilled water. And I like the brew size when it comes to making hot water for tea...sometimes I just want a cup and something I want a pot. The one thing I don't like is discovering that my reusable k-cups don't work with the Keurig, that you need 'special' ones. My recommendation is that you order a set when you order the coffee maker.
