Great
This rolling knife sharpener is a fantastic tool,I wish I bought this instead of the other 2 I’ve tried…I t’s well-built and incredibly easy to use. Compared to my previous rolling knife sharpener, this one gives my knives alot more sharpness. The quality is top-notch, and it’s worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable knife sharpener.

Confusing, but I think it’s pretty good
The promise of quick and easy sharpening was too inviting to resist. I’ve never gotten good results with a sharpening steel (yes, I know that a sharpening steel doesn’t actually sharpen the knife, but rather straightens the edge), and I haven’t dared to try a sharpening stone. I bought one of those plug-in sharpeners where you have to pull your knife blade through very slowly, multiple times in multiple sharpening, honing, and polishing slots. It took too long and was too complicated, and the sharpener was also made for right-handed people, and I’m not one of them.I was surprised by how heavy this rolling knife sharpener is. It’s small, but the webpage says that it weighs 2.44 pounds. The instructions for this rolling sharpener were just pictures. That doesn’t help when I can’t figure out what they are trying to tell me. I’m grateful for the videos on the webpage, which I could (I think) pretty much follow. The pictures make it look like the white disc is the “diamond polishing disc”, and the gray disc is something else. But the webpage calls both discs “diamond polishing discs”. And the first video says that the gray (silver?) disc is the diamond sharpening disc and the white one is the ceramic polishing disc. The videos were way easier to follow than the picture instructions, so I hope they are correct.I watched all the videos very closely, because this is supposed to be a *rolling* knife sharpener, but it sure looked like everyone was just sliding it back and forth, rather than rolling it. And there’s one picture (#3) in the instructions that shows you something that you are not supposed to do, but I can’t tell what the picture is telling me not to do.I saw no reason why I couldn’t turn everything around and use this knife sharpener left-handed: that is, put the knife on the left side of the magnetic piece and slide/roll the cylindrical sharpener with my left hand. That’s a plus for me, although it was not difficult to use it right-handed, because it does not seem to require a lot of coordination or precise movements anyway. But I appreciate any device that is not made to be used only with your right hand, and it’s amazing to me how many things are still exclusively right-handed.So, how well did this work? Well, one test for sharpness seems to be with tomatoes. My big (well 8”) chef’s knife did well after my sharpening efforts: the weight of the knife was enough to cut through the tomato skin. But my little paring knife didn't seem sharp enough to cut through the skin--it still took too much pushing. I should probably have another go at it with the sharpener.

Surprised
This is an excelllent product and worth the money. It's very easy to use-after watching the video.. I took a chance on this to try this sharpener and I was extremely happy with the result. takes only a few minutes to give the knife a razor-sharp edge. It''s well-made; there's nothing that seems cheap about it.

Fantastic Sharpener
An incredible product, the reviews truly did it justice. The previous sharpener I had was bought over 10 years ago and no longer available, I searched everywhere. However this new one I had to try right away and it did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked, it was simple and very efficient. I will most definitely be buying these as gifts for my friends who appreciate the importance of not one dull blade in the kitchen! I hope this review is helpful.

Amazing sharpener
I have had the same set of knifes for about 4-5 years and haven’t thought of sharpening them till I noticed that I was struggling to cut even the softest items, so I decided that instead of getting a whole new set to just purchase a knife sharpening kit. I was a little nervous at first because I have never sharpened knives before and wanted to make sure I did it correctly. Lucky enough this set comes with complete instructions on how to do it! I was able to sharpen all of my knives in about 20 minutes. The kit also comes with a replacement head for each side which is super neat, and the magnet holds on to the knife super well so no need to worry about it sliding anywhere.

Decent product lacks documentation/instruction
This is similar to a much more expensive rolling knife sharpener. The concept is you attach a knife to a magnetic block at either 15 or 20 degree angles and roll the sharpener along the blade to sharpen it there are two sides of the sharpener and you should do both. The concept is good and the product appears well built but the documentation was extremely lacking. It basically just explains what I did up there. It doesn't say which side of the sharpener to use first. It doesn't state how often to use or how many times is recommended to pass the sharpener along the blade etc.I ended up watching youtube videos of the other brand to figure things out (also started with cheap knives just in case).Once I understood the process a little more it was easy to use and I believe it did make a difference in the cutting of the blades. Is this going to replace a professional sharpening service? No but it could keep your blades fresher for longer and its easy enough a kid could use it with damaging the blade.
