thought it was a lot of money for a board but I can honestly say worth every penny I have a big family and big ironing piles and this board is great really sturdy and wide can do toddler items in an easy stroke, no moving required. Bedding is a breeze, and love the silicone mug protector iron rest, I've left cord on so never falls off. There is a ball that stops it being lowered by accident, is great also has a little gadget on opening which you can set to your ideal height so every time its perfect I have it at nice height so no sore back .. great if your tall as goes really high. well worth the spend....as for longevity we will see but so far think its fab.

We've had this ironing board a while now and we still like it. It has stayed well padded and makes ironing smooth and easy. the padding seems replaceable too. It's a good size for getting the ironing done and easy to store even though it's bigger than our old one. It's quite heavy but it is easy to adjust the height, it has a good range so you can iron sitting down if you needed or if you're very tall. We don't use the heat pad but it is good quality. A darker colour would have been better, it has got a couple of water marks over time but this is only a minor issue. Worth the money as you can tell the difference compared to using cheap boards.

what I did not expect was a mesh for the ironing board rather than a solid metal shelf. Another thing I did not expect was that the coffee mug shown in the picture is the separate Silicon Heat Pad which is left elsewhere for when I put the iron away to cool down. I have been using the board for a month now and quite use to it. The ironing board cleverly locks into place when storing as shown in picture. It is quite long and wide but not too heavy to lift. The metal legs are sturdy. Having no place to put the iron is a benefit to me as it increases the ironing space as I leave the iron on the heel. Overall very pleased and ironing seems easier. I can see if someone is steaming (such as with a generator) that the water may drip through the mesh and therefore best to have a towel on the floor if it matters. It does not come through mine. There are anti drip models available. I had a good price (although manufacturer is dearer than most) as I had no preference for any particular cover. Will need to replace the foam that is on top of the mesh and beneath the cover, every few years, according to the limited instructions.

I bought this ironing board because I wanted a large ironing surface which could be set at a large range of levels while maintaining stability. I was not disappointed.This ironing board is exceptionally stable - it doesn't rock around while ironing and the locking mechanism doesn't slip whatsoever when I'm using it. It's quiet to set up and collapse - not like my last one which made an awful screeching sound which grated on me! And, after throwing my last board into the local refuge collection centre, the 10-year guarantee is very welcome.The ironing cover is thick and very soft providing a perfect surface which makes a tedious task reasonably bearable. The movable iron mat is a nice touch too.It's a big ironing board so it's not light, but it's not so heavy that my wife wouldn't be able to put it away.Last, but not least, I love the modern take on the cover design, although it's not to everyone's taste I'm sure.

This is a fantastic ironing board. Solid, well built, stable, excellent quality. Ironing is not fun but this does take a little of the sting out of it. Great for blokes - it can be raised high enough so that you don't have crouch over it. The ironing surface is excellent - no sodden clothes after ironing for a while - and it's consistent along the whole length, which is great for trousers etc. Small niggles: there's a rubber ball thing that's supposed to stop the table collapsing if a child knocks the level - I'm no engineer but there has to be a better way to lock a level - seems amateurish to me. Also, there's a butterfly-nut secured metal hook that's supposed to be positioned to prevent the board opening beyond a certain point, same again, doesn't secure very well and just don't understand the problem it's trying to fix (it's supposed to be fully adjustable - why restrict it?). Really minor points, though, overall this is an excellent product. It's not cheap but I believe I am getting value for money. Great design too. Highly recommended.

My board is so wonky and don't know why wen paid ridiculously high price Amazon please replace ! My iron fell over twice and once on my child's foot!

This is the Mercedes of ironing boards. If you are a serious sewing fanatic you must have one of these. It's long, it's wide, it's designed for you to be able to sit at it. I can't say enough about it even if it is a bit pricey. They are made in Germany so there is nothing cheap about it.

This is definitely a good-looking hunk of metal, when it comes to ironing boards!We have only used the board for about a week now, but can tell the quality of the board was worth the wait! It's very large, which makes it easier to iron shirts. Despite its size, it is still easy enough to tuck away in a closet. The legs are also large and heavier than what I'm used to (although I wouldn't consider it too heavy) which allows for great stability. The padding on the ironing board is thicker than other boards we've bought in the past, and it is secured by a cloth cover with a string that can be tightened. It's the little things that I appreciate the most about this board, and so far, I'm loving it!The only downside was that it took awhile to arrive, but it was not 'late' by any means. The outside packaging arrived damage, but thankfully, its contents (the ironing board itself) weren't.

Magnifico. Questo asse é robusto, maxi formato ed esteticamente bellissimo. Poi per me che sono alta 1,77 cm é il top. Raggiunge come massimo livello d apertura i 1,02 cm pertanto stirare non é più un sacrificio... Anzi.. La schiena non si piega affatto ... Altra chicca é il livello minimo di apertura ke permette di stirare anche da seduti. Nessun altro asse da stiro in commercio coniuga la praticità, la bellezza e l'innovazione così come come l'asse barbantia .. Ora acquisterò anche gli utensili da cucina.. Questo marchio (che non conoscevo prima) é eccezionale.

Llevo con ella un par de semanas y genial. Robusta, muy estable, y sobre todo alta wue es lo que buscaba. Yo la pongo a 1 metro de altura, las normales tienen entre 80 y 94 cm maximo de altura.Pesa un poco para manejarla y plegarla, la anterior que tuve pesaba menos y al ponerla alta era muy inestable.La funda muy bonita pero al ser clara no sera muy limpia, pero se puede lavar.Trae en color negro en forma de plancha un reposaplanchas de silicona para apoyar la plancha, aguanta el calor. Muy contenta volveria a comprarla.
