The length is perfect! I own several other similar products so I know this will last for many years. My only gripe is that the regulator connection only has the large, outside threads, limiting the style of tanks / valves you can attach it to.The other end is a 3/8" female flare. Shipping was fast.

It all worked fine when first purchased but 4 years later and now it's defective. I use a tank of propane a year so very little wear on the regulator collar and washers. The regulator does not fit tightly onto bottle and have a major gas leak.

After a decade the OEM regulator and hose from the BBQ manufacturer gave up and was slowly leaking gas. Install was easy and straight forward wrap sealant tape and tighten down. Check for leaks with soapy water, none found. Been using constantly opening and shutting off at propane before and after every use with no trace of gas smell.The 6ft length made installing propane tanks that much easier than the original 4ft. The steel braiding is an added layer of protection from any nicks when maneuvering hose for propane tank installs and removals.
