Updated review: I had originally scored this device as being GREAT, but that their Customer Service was lacking. The box comes with a card that says if you ever have an emergent need to open the box while it is fully locked (Fortress Mode), you need only email the company for a temp code to open it, they promise to respond within 24 hours. Well, I had such an emergency, however they failed to respond to me as agreed. So, I scored them down in review. However, they have since contacted me, apologized profusely, and promised to do better. So, I'm upgrading to 5 stars because the box really works great (I actually have two of them). Cheers!

Just received it a few days ago — I LOVE it — the best-timed lockbox by far. I highly recommend this product. It allows me to lock up my controlled substances and reclaim healthy habits securely. As a recovering addict, I never take risks and remain committed (15 years sober and counting). Before discovering this gem, I insisted that my partner hold one medication for me for over a year. Now I am independent and fully capable of managing my life. Sturdiness? Check. Battery life? Check. Easy to use. Value for money? Check. Storage capacity? Check. Satisfaction? Check! Also, be careful what you decide to set the timer for, especially in Fortress mode. There's no way to override it, and you'd need to call customer service. It may take up to a day to get the override pin. Get this product if you're looking to break free from unhealthy habits — whether it's vaping, screen time, or something else. Good luck! I'm happy with this purchase, and while it's missing some features that I'd like and would assume are in more expensive lock boxes, this one does enough for me to give it 5 stars. The fortress mode is exactly what I need. Once that's on, you can't unlock it without an emergency code that you get from customer service, which effectively means I'm never getting an emergency code because I can't be bothered to reach out to customer service. Working as intended, if you ask me! You set the timer for the lock box to release using days/hours/minutes, so it's not like it comes with a clock and you choose the time you want it to go off at like an alarm. You have to know how many hours or days or minutes in advance you need to set it ahead for. If you're good with knowing that off the dome, then you're golden, otherwise there are calculators online which can tell you how many hours away a specific time is for tomorrow, etc. Anyway, works like charm and keeps me from making bad choices since I've locked them away!

I like this timed lock box, in particular because it can be programed for any amount of time up to 30 days. It's a great concept to help enforce discipline. It's not infallible. Made of a strong, sturdy plastic; a desperate person could easily use tools to break into the box. It does take some self determination to followup on a choice to lock something away. So far, it has worked flawlessly.

This lockbox is the only thing that’s actually helped me stay off my phone. I’ve tried a lot over the years. App limits, deleting apps, grayscale mode, even seriously considering switching to a dumb phone. None of it really worked long term. I still needed my iPhone for work and family stuff, so I always ended up back where I started. This finally fixed the problem in a simple way. If my phone is physically locked away, I stop thinking about it. No temptation. No “I’ll just check one thing real quick.” It has multiple lock settings, including a strict mode where you truly can’t open it early. I don’t personally use that one because I want access to the emergency bypass just in case something happens, but I like knowing the stricter option is there. If you’ve struggled with phone habits and nothing else has stuck, this is genuinely worth trying. I’m really glad I bought it.

I have no willpower to get off my phone sometimes. This has been really awesome!! I have such peaceful mornings when I know getting on my phone is simply not an option. It’s crazy how much calmer I am!! My anxiety is MUCH lower. If you feel like you’re on your phone too much and are on the fence, I would say go for it!!! Pros: - great value, does the job. Doesn’t feel like it’ll break easily or anything. No reason to spend more than this imo - has little holes on the bottom that you can string a charger through to charge it while it’s locked up. I don’t think this was the intended purpose of the holes but I use them for that and think it’s nice. - easy to use timer/locking mechanism. Only cons: - the little emergency code to bypass the timer is too easy to memorize. I sometimes need my phone for work so I dont feel comfortable using the fortress mode. I memorized the bypass code the first time I had to use it and now I think it’s slightly more tempting to just punch it in really quick haha. Wish I had the extra step of having to read it to deter me but Not a huge deal at all. It might be possible to change it, but I haven’t tried. I kinda think you can’t. But yeah I would say try your absolute hardest to not look at it for as long as possible lol. But also, once you get kinda used to not using your phone, it gets a lot easier to resist. - it’s a bit small. It can fit several of any type of phone but no other type of device. Now that I have it and love it I kinda wish I had one that can fit my gaming controllers too. That’s kinda my fault tho for not just getting a bigger one. if you only want it for your phone(s) it’s the perfect size. If you’re getting this for gaming then definitely get a bigger one.

Can anyone help me step by step on how to activate and set the time in Fortress mode, it seems that whenever I want to confirm the time at the end of the setting it cancels the whole setting and returns again to a point of zero which is very frustrating since I know the normal cancel code I need a stricter mode than Standard lock pattern

La caja y el mecanismo funcionan muy bien, el diseño es funcional y se logra todo lo prometido. Sin embargo, al leer las instrucciones, se observa que 2 de los 3 modos de bloqueo se cancelan utilizando el conocido código gamer Konami. No creo que haya sido prudente utilizar un popular código gamer para anular el funcionamiento de un aparato que está relacionado con tecnología y gadgets. En las instrucciones no hay indicaciones de que se puedan cambiar dicho código.

Easy to operate and the support team was very quick to help me out when I accidentally locked my work phone inside the box instead of my personal phone

Excellent product . Does what it promises. Can store phones , camera, tv remote or even small android tablet. Easy to use and the fortress mode make it so much easier for me to get a digital detox. And distraction free deep work. No more scrolling digital media for me. I had adult ADHD and the phone was like a drug. Give it a try!! It helps. On a side note. I accidentally locked it in fortress mode for 30 days instead of 17 hrs . !! Reached out to the support team via email and within 20 minutes they were able to get it open for me . Very quick to responde and very prompt in their actions in solving my problem .
