Functions as you might expect
Used this to power a PC that's tucked out of the way and normally is a bit of a pain to power on, now I can just reach for this handy little button and boot the PC from a distance.A splitter comes with the button, so the power button on your PC will still function, as this key uses the same PowerSW pins as your main PC power button will use. You will also need a way of running the cable inside the case, for me the best option was to use a PCIe slot that was missing its cover, meaning I can just trail the cable into the back of the PC to connect it to the PowerSW pins.Functions exactly as you'd hope, allowing you to remotely turn on your PC.

Great for testing and remote turn on
I have built a fair few PCs in my lifetime and I must admit, using a screwdriver to short the pins to turn on a computer is a little bothersome. Thankfully, small accessories like this power switch exist, where all you need to do is plug in the cables on the motherboard header and you're off to the races. This switch can also be used for other purpose. Did the power button on your case break? This is a perfect solution instead of replacing the whole case! Do you want to have the capability to remotely turn on your computer instead of crawling under a desk/inside a cabinet? Well this product is for you.Beyond the use cases though, I find this switch to just be nicely built, with an LED for visibility and a tactile mechanical switch.Overall, I think this product is great and would definitely recommend it (for those perhaps niche use cases).
