Compatible Toner Cartridge TN115Y For Brother MFC 9840CDW (Yellow) - 5000 yield - Yellow -

Very light duty on my MFC-9840CDW; have had these cartridges installed for about two years, but but less than 1000/700 black/color pages printed in that time (I use a different printer for most jobs). Finally disgusted enough to change these cartridges. Out of four cartridges (four colors), all of them have leaked slightly from the beginning, and one of them (yellow) has begun to leak like crazy in the past couple months. Makes my prints look like they've been p**sed on.

Leaks from the mag felt roller seals at each end of the cartridge. What a mess. I cannot recommend this product and it is hard for me to understand why a product that makes such a mess out of expensive printers stays on the market, but I suppose some of these are not defective. Mine cartridge was. There are plenty of reputable compatibles at or near the same price.

The ink did work for my printer but the powder for the ink was all over the place so when I actually print something I get this color all over my piece of paper. It doesn't look professional. I tried cleaning it and it still isn't where I want it to be. Had to replace it completely with a product from another company.

After a month of using, the printer stopped printing the correct shade of colors. Upon closer inspection, toners were spilling all over the place. In conclusion, this will cause more trouble than it worth. Caveat emptor.
