These made a great festive present and were more solid than I expected, especially after reading some reviews. They’ve held up well and haven’t broken. A fun and unique little gift!

My son played with these for about 1/2 hour and hasn’t picked them up since. 🙁They don’t flow particularly well, so I think that was the main reason.They are expensive for what they are and I think there are better fidget toys available.

I would love to give 5 stars but the cone broke the same day, the remaining one is however a brilliant design and great to fidget with.

These are two 3D printed, two-part figures - a cone and a trigonal pyramid. Each one is made from two parts - a central spiral made from a plastic that is: pink on one side and orange on the other; and, a counter that is the same shape in the black outer section. Each has the outside cut into a particular shape.The cone has a rotational symmetry of seven so the inner core can take up any one of seven positions and fit the outside perfectly. It can also be inverted as you can see in the photographs. The trigonal pyramid internal has a rotational symmetry of six so it is possible to insert the inner section the correct way up so that the surfaces do not match in addition to inverting it.The mouldings themselves are made using three dimensional printing as you can see from the layers of plastic threads.These are good, not only as toys for you to look at or pick up and play around with every now and then but also to serve as samples of what three dimensional printing can do both in terms of surface resolution but also in terms of the fact that you can make things that there are beyond conventional machining.
