GoPro Rechargeable Battery for HERO4 Black/HERO4 Silver (GoPro Official Accessory)

The battery is from November 2016 and I am writing this in March 2023. It has sat in storage for some time. Hopefully it works as intended. 4 stars for selling a battery from 2016.I will do a test to see how ling it will run for and update my review.**Update** Battery passed the 104 minute recording mark using 1080p/30fps on a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Works as good as new.

If you like the performance of the OEM GoPro battery then this will work for you. I don’t really like to use cheap knock off batteries in my electronics. Chances are they are all made in the same factory overseas, but if one leaks I can at least tell go pro that I was using the battery they intended to be used. I have had warranty claims be denied before because I used a knock off battery. That being said these batteries are real ones and the performance is the same as the original battery that came with my GoPro. The price was better than I could find in the stores too. I saved $5 per battery by going through Amazon. So if you like to buy OEM batteries for your GoPro, this is the place I would recommend getting them from.

Disappointed - bought this battery for use in recording an important annual event. It charged well the first time, only to use it and see 1 brick available for recording on the go-pro. Assumed it was quirky and tried again the following evening and it wouldn't charge it all - uselessNot sure what the story is with this product, but wish i could get my money back or a replacement. Buyer beware - Since i bought this several months before my event it falls outside the return policy. I had kept it in packaging until closer to my event. I guess i should have tried it the minute i got the box in - disappointed
