This is a great product for younger kids who love listening to stories or music. The Yoto Mini is extremely durable and so are the cards. With only a couple buttons it's easy for young ones to use and worth the cost. It's used everyday around the house but also for long roadtrips. It can be used with our without headphones.

Excellent gift for kids who are addicted to screens. Helps them use their imagination. Also wonderful for the blind, with the use of their NFC cards you can create playlists, stories, sound effects, white Noise for sleeping, you name it. Just about anything with audio that can be recorded on one of the cards using the app can be played, also you can pretty much use any card and overwrite, once it's in your library you can rewrite it to the card over and over again. Great way to introduce kids to a concept similar to old cassette technology while keeping it fun and compact

My child will not put this down! They love this toy and it has met and exceeded all expectations. They love the agency they have to select stories, change volume, and listen on headphones or not. My child is five and it's very simple for them to use the toy. They rarely need help from us, usually just to plug it in to charge. The device comes with more features than I initially expected as well, such as the free content like soundscapes and radio. I also love the write your own card feature! I will be recommending this to every parent I know. 100 percent worth the money.

Absolutely wonderful purchase. My kiddo takes this thing all over. We use it A LOT un our family because we are writers, producers, and musicians. Our kiddo has all our originals on it. His grandma even reads stories to him and records them on her cell phone. She sends us the file and we upload them to our kiddos yoto. A great way to keep things connected as family, heart warming, and clean and safe. Not a fan of a lot of the cards available. In our opinion, they're junky things and shouldn't be exposed to kiddos. Yoto has the potential of being a great learning tool and it has great settings you can monitor and set as a parent to keep your kiddo safe. Including, but not limited to, volume settings, hours allowed, and even fun timers, on the app, to brush their teeth. And JAKE on Yoto is a FANTASTIC host for Yoto daily and makes a lot of fun for the kids.

Best. Invention. Ever. My kids (4.5, 3.5, 2) are starting to phase out their naps. The Yoto really helps them stay awake while still resting. I was shocked by how high quality the sound is for such a small device. Very intuitive, even my two year old can operate it totally independently. Fantastic battery life, cute charging chord. Easy to see screen which isn’t over stimulating. Intuitive operation.

I bought 2 of these for my 5 & 7 year olds. They’re the best thing since sliced bread!! I love that you can add more than one to an account so they a share stories and music. They love bopping around with their mini yotos. The Yoto has fun little features like timers for brushing teeth and tidying up. Also podcasts for kids. You can also make your own Yoto card. It reminds me of when I used to mis my own tapes or burn my own cds. It’s really so cute and I love that it doesn’t have a screen.

We got the Yoto for my toddler for Christmas (2y) and they LOVE it! she very quickly understood the controls as they are simple to use. There are SO many cards you can buy to use with it I know she’ll get years of use out of it. The sound quality is good, and the volume quality and variability too. I got a little silicone case to go around it just for added protection. It’s a decent amount of money for a pretty small physical object but the gift of screen free audio books in a kid friendly package is priceless!

There's nothing about the Yoto not to like! My 5 year old listens to it almost every night, he really looks forward to the podcast - which is in itself fantastic. Puts a smile on my face as he retells the jokes the next day! The Yoto is so versatile - blank card that comes with can be loaded with anything, we put his favourite songs, stories, etc. Its also great for travel, and even doubles up as a bluetooth speaker. I'd say its suitable for ages 5+, any younger would be okay but would just need an adult to help with the controls. At 5 they can pretty much use it independently. Amazing.
