RuffwearBark'n Boot Socks, Comfortable Dog Socks & Boot Liners, Earth Brown, 2.50 in/ 2.75 in

The product is very good. Unfortunately, they were too large (I ordered knowing this; it is not a mis-size by vendor). I had email discussions with RW & they are fantastic. If my girl had slightly bigger feet I would be buying all their styles!!!

The socks fit well and cover dew claws well. They seems to help the booties fit better and not rub at all.Ps. Ruffwear is awesome. I got ther booties and socks thinking they’d be good in the snow (misreading the description for the booties I got ). They are not meant for snow. They’re meant for cold temperatures and snow melt etc. my dog loves them (took. Hike to get him used to them) and they help protect his feet in snow. However the short ones will come undone because the snow gets in the velcro. Hence why ruffwear has ones that are meant for snow. Nonetheless they replaced the booties we lost in the snow due to them coming off and gave me a discount to purchase the snow ones! Such an awesome company! I will be purchasing form them again. Besides coming off in the snow they fit well, stayed in in non snow and are built very well.

They definitely help the fit and comfort of the boots themselves. For that, working as intended, and 4 stars. I take one star though because as mentioned, they are not very snug. I bought the size that should have been snug on my dog and they were rather loose. On their own, they would fall off easily. With the boot (ruffwear brand as well, griptrex, also sized appropriately yet still slipped off, thus the need for socks), everything stays relatively in place. I still have a tough time getting everything tight enough. My dog has some tiny little ankles I guess but I measured to fit the paw size as stated and it is still proving difficult.Im sort of out of luck still as these boots and socks were already the smallest I could get for my 27lb shiba inu. Still, my struggles do not mean this is not a quality product. I like them very much. If it were possible to size down again I would in a heartbeat. We will just have to be using some workarounds for proper fit, maybe cutting out some material from the center stretchy part. I just need something to keep my service dog safe!Quick edit: cutting some fabric from the center fold in the boot itself has provided a slightly better fit so the velcro can close tighter. His back paws are slightly smaller and turns out the boots fit better on the front with sock, but on the back is better without. Back is 1.75, front is 2.0.

I bought these socks for my dog who's a miniature Dane. She is in a arthritis brace trial and needed something to assist with pressure sores. I bought the correct size for her but they needed to be a little smaller for going under the brace. Otherwise they were the perfect size if she was wearing them in like boots. I like these because they were moisture wicking and have a little bit of thickness to the sock to help with the pressure sores. Unfortunately with the brace, the socks kept sliding down.

My dog is 50 lbs ( ideal weight) and wears a 2.5” shoe. I ordered the 2.5/2.75” sock. They’re lightweight and stretchy with added thickness in the toe box. The toe box is pretty much straight across, resulting in extra fabric on the sides of the toe. I may have had better luck sizing down, but I wouldn’t want them to be any shorter. They just barely come up over the top of my dog’s off-brand shoes. I think they may start to slip down when she’s walking. Comparatively, kurgo brand dog socks are taller and more paw-shaped (pictures: kurgo on the left hand side, ruff wear on the right hand side. ) I also compared these to regular kid’s socks, which are cheaper. I found the kid’s socks did ok in the front but didn’t not stay up in the back. They have a lot of extra and loose fabric, and the dog didn’t seem as comfortable. Ruff wear socks are definitely better than kid’s socks!

Grips worked great. It took a few times putting them on to develop the right technique.

I ordered two sets of these socks for my pups, I was opening up this package and found it weird that one came attached to the cardboard and one pair was loose in a bag. I was folding the pairs together when I noticed the one that came in the bag had short little hairs (I have two long hair dogs so I knew I hadn’t gotten them dirty that quickly) and I began to get extremely itchy. I can only assume that these were a used and returned pair, I am highly allergic to cats so I’m suspecting that may be why I started itching so bad. If I’m paying the full price of the product I don’t expect to have used or returned items given to me. I usually wouldn’t mind and would’ve just washed them but the fact I’m having an allergic reaction due to this is very upsetting especially because I have other health conditions that are exasperated by this.

I really like these socks for use inside the Ruffwear boots. Without socks, the boots tended to have uncomfortable areas where the Velcro is tightened against the leg. With the socks on, my lab didn't mind wearing the boots at all. Without socks, he was obviously bothered by them. Would recommend, especially if getting the boots as well. Socks also fit nicely, if worn alone. Seems comfortable.

Use them so my dog will stop chewing his feet

Wie nicht anders zu erwarten sind auch die Socken von ruffwear top. Bei meiner Labbi-mix Hündin weder zu eng, noch zu weit und leicht anzuziehen. Top Qualität
