Mens G-1 Fur Collar US Navy Flight Distressed Brown Aviator Genuine Leather Jacket

Very good leather, looks great, comfortable, and true to size. The jacket was well packaged the leather smell was a bit strong but aired out well. There was a red and a white stain at the fold on the back, but I used some alcohol on a cotton swab to remove them, then another cotton swab with brown dye to get the color back, worked great.

I wore one of these coats (USMC flight crew) from 1965 through 1978. I can't tell the difference between my coat then and this new one. There is only minor variation, the coat 50 years ago had a heavier duty zipper, otherwise this is an excellent garment. The craftsmanship is superb and contrary to what some other comments have said there is NO evil smell. This was money well spent. I wear a size medium and the size ordered, medium, fits perfectly.

Good quality, smell isn't overwhelming, comfortable, fur feels nice.I just wish they also sold a variation that's more suited for somewhat lanky people who have longer proportions without the expected width. Like (XXL) shoulder width is comfortable, but with 2 more inches in length it would be perfect

I measured and went according to size chart but jacket was still too small for me. However, the jacket itself was good quality so my wife repacked the item and requested a refund and as soon as this goes through I am ordering a size larger because this jacket is exactly what I was looking for in this style. Shipping was fast and although disappointed it did not fit I feel confident that the next one we order will be the perfect size. Just for reference, I ordered and XL and will need an XXL. I am 5’11’ and weigh 236lbs. Like I said, according to size chart we felt XL would be a perfect fit. Once item comes in I will write a second review.

I rarely write these. I grew up riding horses, working saddles, boots, etc. I guess you could say I kinda know leather. This jacket looks good enough, but: 1. It’s micro thin 2. The leather (I don’t think its real) is so micro thin that a tiny scratch shows the backing, so thin in fact that I think the tag on the jacket nicked it while in shipment 3. While there was no vinyl smell, there also was absolutely no leather smell. I’m returning it. I was pretty excited to get it, too bad.

Very good quality, super comfortable for my broad shoulders. Most jackets are To tight in the shoulders but this one has a design that allows expansion during movement. Highly recommend

Quality is very nice, it is true to size, the zipper is a YKK and functions well. The fur collar is very comfortable. It also has 2 inside pockets and one of them has a zipper, I like the color, it looks well worn in without the wear
