Yes they should as our table is thicker and the clips work well.

I think you’re looking for tablecloth clips which are adjustable. That way you control the fit. 9 cm is quite deep. Always buy ones which show the depth that way they’ll fit you’re requirements. My table is deep and I had a few incorrect ones before I found the right one. Good luck. Once you find the right ones - order more.

Can the bottom bit rotate?

No. The clip is fixed and slides over the table and cloth. Very good purchase which works really well on a windy day.

Will these fit a thin table?

As long as it’s thin. Ours was about 1/12inch thick and they slipped of. I hope this helps.
