This heavy glass "evil eye" hanging pendant is made from cobalt coloured glass with an eye in the middle(ish). It is about the size of a large orange. The eye is also coloured glass as well as the square bead. The 2 plastic round beads could be improved by making them out of glass. The pendant hangs well as it has a good weight. I like the rustic sisal type rope as it gives the decor a more homely feel. The only down side to the pendant is that the eye is a bit lop-sided and the glass at the back is sharp where the the rope threads through.

I really love these blue Nazar amulets, said to protect one from the 'evil eye'. I don't actually believe in the 'evil eye' as an external force, but I do believe in the power of superstition and used these when my children were small to tell them it would help keep nightmares away - and it worked, although I'm sure that was just suggestion. As ornaments, I think these are really beautiful - I love the deep cobalt blue of the glass. Some can be a bit tacky, but this one is really nice: natural string with pretty glass beads above the nazar. It's a great size for a window hanging at about 9cm diameter, and the glass is good and thick as it should be. Recommended!
