Simple, but why no grease port?
Drilling a grease port on a round object is kind of a pain to center...not sure why they didn't just have one already, perhaps with a simple plug in it if you didn't want to use it. Otherwise, they're fairly standard barrel hinges and the price ($10 for 2) is good. I'm making a simple metal gate and these allow you to lift it off easily. And I prefer a grease port as it allows you to stuff the hinge with grease which generally (as long as the pin points up) keeps dirt and moisture out.

Barrel hinges are some of the strongest hinges out there and they make a gate easily removable.
I generally prefer 4-inch hinges but these are more than strong enough to hold up a 4-ft metal tube gate . Barrel hinges make a gate easily removable you just lift the gate straight up and pull it away . I ordered these hinges to hold up a 4-ft pasture gate I'm building ,once made up it should last a lifetime .
