These "pencils" have really changed how I function in the shop and on the job. I saw another building using one and thought I'd check it out, and I'm glad I did. These mark well with lead that is soft but not too soft. The line quality it sharp and they mark well on wood and other surfaces. I haven't tried the colored leads yet but I have used other lead pointers in the past and expect they will mark similarly. The build quality is good and they work without issue. Built-in sharpener on the butt end of the pencil means I always have a sharp tip for precision marking. They don't weigh much, but still seem durable enough, I had one sitting in my tool box loose and it didn't break or bend with other tools jostling around in the box with it. Haven't used the pens yet but I did buy this for the pencils...so should you.

One recommendation I would make is to purchase retractable clips, so you never lose or drop your pencil accidentally. The lead is a great diameter, which provides a great mark and is durable. The size of the pencil lends to a comfortable hold, when using.

After countless years of using a flat pencil or basically anything I could find to make a mark. I find this incredible kit with two pencils with interchangeable leads and two markers that extend the reach. The pencils are made of quality material and they work well. Changing the lead is simple and easy, this kit is a priced right and comes in a durable case to protect your accessories. Overall a great kit and an outstanding design that will provide many years of service to the do it yourself handy person.

The pencils work perfectly for what I need. I would prefer them to be a little more high quality but for the cost you can’t beat it. Hopefully they make an all metal option because I would purchase it immediately. Good side and feels good holding. Sharpener right on the pen is a huge plus. Great alternative to the old school pencils!
