A trad FM transistor radio.
Compact and well-made, this is a modest FM radio. The small speaker produces bright, clear sound, but as you might expect negligable bass and mid-range frequencies. The manual tuning is a little fiddly and requires re-setting to change stations as there are no pre-set storeage buttons, but it doesn't take long to adjust to the tuning process. Battery life using no -rechargeables seems good on medium volume.

Pocket Radio
Nice little radio , very smart in appearance finished in black and white . Sound quality good for the price , works with headphones , ( not supplied ) Just needs two small batteries . This is a real pocket radio , good buy .

Buy it , its a delightful little radio
This is a very slim line radio very much like a Child's mobile phone . I also have a Roberts pocket radio for work which is much better and for an extra £3 Roberts is the Rolls Royce of radio and its British made . However this radio works perfect its very handy for popping in the pocket i use it for the Shed when planting also take it to bed and the bathroom its a Philips so its still a very good make and the sound is perfect it takes two AAA battery's and no doubt runs off air ! for £11.99p you can't complain .

Waste of money even at cheap price
Terrible quality. Cheap plastic feel. Thought more from a philips product. Volume dial ridiculously sensitive and is either too quiet to hear or too loud and crackly for the rubbish speakers. Waste of money

Philips AE1530/00 Portable AM/FM Radio
Nice little and great for FM, very weak on MW . If you like BBC 5 Live you will pick it up but the channel keeps moving from time to time. Takes 2 AAA batteries. Good build and worth the money but only for FM not MW.

very lightweight, but feels solid enough, Perfect for use with a lanyard and headphones.
Nice quality basic radio with headphone jack and a hole for fixing a lanyard ( so you can hang it round your neck ), I bought it to listen to commentary broadcast on FM at sporting events (Radio Le Mans ! ). Very lightweight, but still feels solid enough to stand up to some rough and tumble. You'll need 2x AAA batteries for it. (Glad they don't provide any 'free' ones with it because I normally chuck them out anyway !),

Good little radio
Bought this to leave on for the dogs when we go out. Basic but does the job. Doesn't go that loud but we don't need it to!
